I’ve worn Birkenstock’s since 1979.(dad stationed in Germany). Always replace once they are worn out (yes they do wear out, but takes a year or two). Ultra comfortable. Finding them in the states is hard, and once I located a store within the Amazon listings, was happy. Very quick the delivery.

I've been wearing Birks for 25 years. My problem feet love them. I now live in Thailand, and they are hard to find and expensive. But Amazon came through with a good price, and reasonable global shipping. 5 stars all around!

    • Disappointing
The leather is so thin I’m fearful it won’t last the way my previous pair did. In a year I’ll re-review. I have been waiting years for plum suede to return. I gave up and got boring black leather. The leather is on 1/3 as thick as my old purple suede leather Birkenstocks.

I have had many Birkenstocks. I presently own 4 pair. I was stationed in Germany off and own from 1955 to 1982 and wore them all the time. I am in my 80s and now use them mostly for around the house. This last pair is the least desirable because of the suede insole. They are comfortable but my feet does not slip in or out easily. I will stick to the old style next time. ... show more
