  • It’s not the real thing but still works perfectly
I built my first gaming set up with this and yes it was a budget build this made it so much better, I used this card for about 2 years and it ran gta5 on ultra graphics and even beam ng drive on ultra graphics, all in all it wasn’t the real thing but for how much I paid I couldn’t complain at all, (keep it clean it can overheat but all it will do is slow your games down) ... show more

  • Great GPU for the price, stead carefully around the "smooth VR"
it's a great entry card, however, it's not VR ready (thing is $100, so what do you expect). I play rainbow six a lot, and it performed wonderfully. Both the standered API and the Vulkan API worked well (Vulkan felt a bit smoother) You can get up to 40fps on medium settings, 30fps on high (40 if you turn off anti alaising. So I can proudly say this is an amazing card for such a small price, just sucks that people will expect smooth VR on it. (you get about 10fps and will get very sick, don't try to play VR on it. However, I am upgrading to an r9 280x, so I will try to use this only for VR and handle all my other graphics on my r9 just to see if this works. (I will update it then hopefully if I remember. ... show more

  • Excellent graphic card! But does not work with Linux kernel 4.19
It works perfectly fine on Ubuntu and Elementary O.S. It does not work out of the box on Debian 10.5 due to its kernel is still old (4.19) so some firmware is needed in order to have a graphic environment with Debian. Otherwise it is a good card. Temperatures are really good under 37° when doing multitasking and only displaying 1 HDMI 27" screen display. I am pretty happy with this card. It supports most of the current games by running them pretty decent with more than 40-50-60 fps (everything above the 40 fps will run smoothly). The only complain I might have is that it made to switch from debian to ubuntu due to the debian kernel is too old still to properly use it out of the box but it is a very good card, pretty silent actually. ... show more

  • Great Price Decent Performance
I am not a heavy gamer so I was not looking for a top performing video interface. I do often run Clash of Clans using Blue Stacks. I have three bases and rum them at the same time. I noticed that despite this game not being video intensive that when all three bases were running the performance lagged. I also run intensive image processing of photographs and one of my programs would not run until I upgraded my video RAM. Installed this interface and now no problems. It did what I wanted for a great price. ... show more

  • A good mid level gaming video card
Using this video card with a Quad, Core i5 4690 processor. Its quite capable to play video games at medium settings and even some at high settings, while returning 30 to 60 frames per second. I have not noticed jitter nor distortion nor tearing while using this video card. This is a far better video card than the low entry level cards offered by Nvidia. I use this video card in a Steam gaming machine. Yes I would recommend this gaming video card ... show more

  • RX550 works great with I5 proc.
Worked fine out of the box. Vast improvement over the GT710 I was using for years.

  • Get this when the price goes down.
I was able to grab this before they jacked the price up but when the price goes down I’d highly recommend this as an entry level card, it runs games (Minecraft, csgo, etc.) pretty good and it makes little to no noise I’ve noticed.

  • It's Aight
It's a decent placeholder until I can upgrade, it can run older games and newer games at a low setting but I definitely want to upgrade in the future , it can't run next gen games like AC Valhalla or Watch Dogs Legion, but it can run Overwatch pretty good
