I love the portability of this small battery backup from Biolite, and it significantly increases the light output on my Biolite headlamp 750 using the passthrough charging port after the unit starts to dim. The charging LEDs seem to show full charge up to 70%, but the unit starts to dim when not in constant output mode. This small 6,500 mAh battery fits in my jacket pocket and changes the equation. I decided to purchase this power bank because I had heard it was good for backpacking. I had been using my regular power bank which worked well, but was a bit overkill in capacity and weight. I received the unit, plugged it in and charged it until I saw that all the power bars were lit. Off I go on my backpack, and on the third day go to recharge my phone.
