Turns out I have hip bursitis. Tried Icy Hot and it works fairly well. Read reviews and chatted with other users and seemed worth a try as one lady was a former orthopedic surgical nurse. And it works. She let me borrow her gel version but that requires gloves and is a bit messy. Figured roll on would be a controlled application keeping hands free and it does. A significant improvement over Icy Hot. A bit expensive but worth a try and if it is only a temporary muscle ache would imagine would really be helpful. ... show more

My doctor recommended this for my lower back pain in my third trimester. Preferred it over “icing” the area multiple times a day/15 minutes per day. It helped to an extent but my pain was really bad. Either way I like it and there’s no mess as it rolls on.

Would definitely highly recommend. Love the easy roll-on applicator. I’ve been a huge fan of Biofreeze for years and would recommend to anybody that has anything for my mild knee ache to throwing their back out. Works amazingly.
