So I wanted this for my 7 year old but my older son who’s 12 took interest in these a little more, the kids are tired of being home so we took these binoculars to the park and they enjoyed looking at the birds from so far away. Gotta keep them busy ! I got these for my 2 year old. She loves to look at "hawks" (any kind of bird) whenever they are flying or in the trees. She likes to carry around Grandma and Pa Pa's when they go on walks, so I thought she would love these. I know she is a little young for them, but she loves to carry them around and look at things. These binoculars are a great buy especially for my kids. First of all you get a bag and a lens cleaning cloth in the box so that is a plus. They are mid to heavy duty in weight and have a lanyard attached to wear around your neck. I like how they are not too heavy so my kid won't complain about holding them. They are also adjustable which is very cool. The lens is adjustable to see closer or far away and has a +/- sign for kids to easily understand. These look ok and seem durable and well made. But they do not focus. We tried every setting multiple times and multiple ways, cleaning the lenses, etc. but they just won’t focus. What a shame cause we bought them for a Broadway show, so they were useless for that purpose. Unfortunately I bought them well in advance of the show so by the time we knew how bad they were, it was too late to return them. ... show more

Very happy with these Binoculars. You can see pretty far and can't wait to use them when I take my grand kids hiking. I noticed these work for both kids and adults. all you have to do is fold in the side a little. It comes with a pouch that has a belt loop which is a great thing to have because the little ones like carry their own stuff and this way they won't lose it. a bonus is having the cloth lens cleaner.     • Poor optics. Not clear at the edges.

Was able to get it focused sharply just in the center of each eye's view, but the area surrounding the center points are blurry; i.e. the edges. Disappointed. I compared them to another pair of binoculars to confirm that it was just these and not my eyes, and I was correct. The other pair were sharp and clear in the entire view of each eye, not just in the center like these. Also, they are too small for my son (age 12); he complains that the opening where he places his eyes are too small, and his eyelashes get in the way. Will be returning these. ... show more

Item arrived earlier than expected. The binoculars seem to be durable— they have been dropped several times already on our hard floor and don’t seem to have been affected. My husband has enjoyed playing with them even more than our son! His favorite part is that you can put the case on while the strap is on too. We got this pair as a test and are satisfied. The binoculars definitely work— once adjusted, I was able to read our high chair warning label from across the room, even with my astigmatism!
