  • Great Replacements for Worn Out Stockers
First, label faces up, they don't tell you that but that is how they go. Nice finish and quality construction. Installed on 2016 1500 Silverado crew cab. Ride started out stiffer than stock even when truck was new. They have broken in a little bit in a couple thousand miles of driving and gotten smoother. Good control towing, better than the stockers, and work great on hunting roads. Would absolutely buy again. Had KYB Gas-A-Just on another pickup and these are similar but a little stiffer than recall the KYBs being. The Bilstiens are supposed to last longer. ... show more

  • Highly Recommend.
After much research I decided on the Bilstein adjustable front struts to level my 2018 Silverado. On the recommendation of the shop doing the install, and reading about the upper control arm issues on these trucks, I decided to go one notch down from the top(1.25" lift). The truck rides stiffer, which I expected. Handling is great. I got a true 1.25" lift. Truck still sits higher in the rear, but looks much better. I installed the rear shocks myself in less than an hour. ... show more

  • Nice shocks - you'll need access to a good quality heavy duty spring compressor.
Installed these on my 2014 Silverado 1500 4X4. Nice improvement to the ride. Installation on the back is easy. Fronts aren't that hard in terms of getting the springs/shocks in and out of the truck, but I decided not to use the cheap spring compressor from the local parts store. Shops won't compress the springs for you or install them these days unless you buy from them - I get it. Fortunately for me, my brother is an Automotive tech that works at a shop and we wen there to use the spring compressor to swap the shocks. ... show more

  • Fit perfect and have an excellent ride quality.
Wow! Compared to my stock Ranchos that had 89,000 miles on them, these things ride like a dream! The original rears on my Silverado were totally shot so this was a MASSIVE improvement. Before, going over big bumps in the road serious unsettled the rear end and often times made it quite scary as the truck would really jump around - especially if it was in a bend! The fronts are just as good and the added feature of 4 different ride heights with an ~2” lift at the highest point is AWESOME! It allowed me to eliminate the spacers I was using before between the bottom of the shock and the LCA. One of the best mods I did to the suspension, along with adding the Rough County upper control arms for lifted trucks. Together those two mods serous improves the ride and handling of the truck!! ... show more

  • They really shine on washboard dirt roads.
I installed these on a 2014 Silverado, with all the great reviews I guess I expected night and day difference results. On main paved roads I notice a little difference but then I have hard rubber tires (Michelin) with 45K miles on them, where these shocks really shine and show a big difference is on those washboard dirt roads. These shocks make the truck hold the road and track true on rough roads. I am pleased with my purchase and recommend them. ... show more

  • 2015 Sierra 3" Strut Spacer 2" Blocks
2015 gmc sierra 1500. Rough country upper control arms. 3" top strut spacers with bilsteins on second notch. This should give about 3.75 inch lift according to specs I didnt measure before. Removed upper arm bumper stops and there's about 1/4 space still before touching. Adding small rubber pieces so not metal to metal.. No weird noises or vibrations driving without diff drop but I'm adding 1" diff drop next to be safe. Rides stiffer but only 100 miles so far and it will loosen up. Rear added 2" blocks. Now sits with front almost 1/2 inch higher. 42" to top fender bottom and about 41.5 on rear but I have the shell so. Looks level. First stock notch on front shocks would probably make it perfectly level. I would say the second notch with 3" spacers up front is the highest and best way to go without a full lift kit. I believe the 3" spacers are better than using the clips to lift front because it makes the spring stiffer where the spacers don't. ... show more

  • Great shocks for the great price.
Install is quick and easy, was also able to level out the front without sacrificing the comfort with a leveling kit. Recommended for anyone looking to do the same.
