I was looking for a SUP with an inflatable seat for a while, and couldn’t find anything affordable on Amazon until I finally found this brand (itaostar)! (I paid $307.22 in April 2024) I would like to start out by saying customer service from itaostar was amazing! Amazon had a mishap with shipping the board and itaostar went above and beyond to make it right, and provided great communication throughout. Now on to the board; it’s great! The price is very fair for a board alone, but on top of that it comes with so many accessories, way more than any other brand, and most importantly for me, an inflatable seat. The quality of everything is good, nothing seems cheaply made, I feel like everything is going to last me a long time. Overall you will have everything you need, and it’s all doable for one person. I would recommend having a second person on standby to help out though because the bag is very heavy when full, the board is big to carry (especially when it has stuff on top such as the seat, paddle, and belongings), and it’s a big workout to pump manually, BUT it is all still very possible to be done by just one determined person. It’s quite a big workout for me to manually pump the board for about 15-20 minutes out in the hot sun, and I want to conserve energy to use out on the water paddling, so I got a SUP pump for it and I am never going back to manually pumping! It’s so much easier! The instruction manual says to use the specific manual pump that comes with the board. It warns to not use an air compressor because that can over inflate the board, but it says that proper SUP pumps can be used. You do need to devote some time at first to thoroughly read the manual and educate yourself on how to set up and use everything. Once you become familiar with everything, it becomes a much quicker and easier set up every time. Note: the little tan wooden pins that are inserted into the sides of the footrest in some of my pictures are something I put in myself, to make the edges of the footrest smoother. I have taken the board out on the water many times now and I am loving it. I can literally go on entire expeditions with it. Note of caution: It’s very hard to paddle against a strong current or strong winds of 15-20 mph, no matter what you’re paddling on, so stay safe. I hardly made it back to my starting point one day because the wind picked up, as well as the waves and current. It doesn’t matter how strong of a person you are, nature is always stronger. Always have a life jacket and whistle. This board even includes a whistle. Since the board is so wide and long, it’s very easy to learn on, I have never been on a SUP before and I learned how stand and paddle within the first day. It can hold quite a lot too, it has held me, on one seat (random bleacher seat I found) in the front, and a second adult on the inflatable seat in the back, and all our stuff. Pros: - good quality board (and accessories), thick, built well, will last long if you take good care of it. - So many accessories are included, including all the essentials. You don’t need to buy anything extra (except if you want to buy an electric SUP pump). - The seat is inflatable, making it a million times more comfortable than a flat seat. - Fair price for the quality and amount of items included. - Very stable board due to width and length, easy to learn on and can hold more than one person. - I have been pleasantly surprised at how sturdy the board is. Although no one should do this, I have dragged it on the ground a couple times, and have also bumped it into rocks by accident and it’s still intact. Cons (not major, would still buy the board): - The foot rest is a bit too far away, unless you are tall. I am 5’7” and it’s a bit too far away for me to use comfortably. (Your feet don’t just have to reach it, your legs need to be in a bent position to benefit from the foot rest). - The foot rest is kind of difficult to install through the loops each time, you need a lot of finger strength. - The water bottle holder’s base came unglued from the board after some time. - I stopped using the water bottle holder altogether, because my water would heat up a lot from being in direct sunlight, and my phone wouldn’t fit in the slot when it was in a waterproof case. - Small bits of glue peak out from underneath the top mat of the board, but this is strictly something cosmetic, it hasn’t affected the performance nor integrity of the board. Recommendations: - buy an electric SUP pump (the board comes with a manual pump), it will you save a lot of energy and time. It takes a lot of strength to manually pump the board. - Have a second person help you carry the heavy bag and carry the board to the water when it’s inflated. - If you’re going on a long trip, keep food and water out of the sun, it will heat everything up like crazy. Use a small cooler or even a lunch bag, maybe add in some ice. - Wear sunscreen, and bring sunscreen on the board. - Always have a life jacket and whistle, and have some way to contact someone for help. We’ve gone through several inflatable paddle boards, and this one truly stands out. The accessories are fantastic, and it’s spacious enough for our baby and three dogs to join us on our adventures. The board is incredibly stable, and the material is top-notch. We’ve had many people ask us how we manage with everyone onboard, and it’s honestly due to the paddle board’s excellent design. I started out with a slightly smaller board but needed a second one. I wanted a larger board that my 6’2” husband could use when he came with me, but I also wanted a larger more stable board for myself as I am often on it for hours at a time. This was the biggest one I could find. It’s great! I have lots of room to move around, bring my dog, and do yoga if I so choose to. I purchased a second one as a Christmas gift for my 60+ mom who also felt very stable on this board. I haven’t used the seat yet so I can’t comment on it. ... show more

Used it 2 days after I received it. This is my 5th board and first Itaostar. It is 36 inches wide and more stable when standing than my 34 in wide, yes that 2 inches makes a difference, and it’s well made. All the accessories are nice and I like the seat when using like a kayak. Inflates like any other board. I gave a 4 because I don’t care for how the fins hook in with the part that slides through the hole (my others have the fins that slide in and click lock, so easy). ... show more

Love everything about this board. Except pumping it up. 2nd time bought an electric pump! Deflated easily, and packed it away it under 10 mins. Definitely can fit 3 people on the board. Haven’t used the seat yet. Great quality, very stable. Love the size of it! I’m a big girl too 5’9 200lbs.
