I love Melin hats but 1) they're expensive and 2) some of them don't fit right and 3) the one that fits the best on me (the a game) has a vertical seam as the centerpiece of your hat. This hat overcomes my biggest gripe with the a-game and gives me a clear canvas for whatever patch is destined for it. It fits as (if not more) comfortable as the Melin and costs half as much. What are you waiting for?

I am a frequent hat wearer (probably has a little to do with my thinning hair) and was looking for a plain comfortable hat. I saw this one on Amazon and gave it a try. Putting it on, I was surprised at how comfortable it is. It fits well and looks good. I like the ventilation holes on the back of the hat. I wore this hat on a hike that turned into a trail run. I got pretty sweaty and with the gray color, there were some sweat marks on the hat. They came off so easily! I just got my hand wet and rubbed it a few times on the sweat line. It dried quickly and looked as good as new. I'm a big fan of this hat and I like all the color options. I think I'm going to pick up the Black and Slate Blue next!

Despite large PLEASE PACK IN BOX red sticker, hat (with no tag) still arrived in a bag and crushed/ damaged with a permanent crease. Aside from this the hat is pretty decent quality. I have another in navy and it’s great quality.

If you're like me, you're considering this hat because it resembles a very popular one that costs over twice as much. Is this the same hat? No. Is it as nice? Also no. But, the material is nearly identical, and at a distance, no one will be able to tell them apart. This hat's shape is not as nice as the AG version of the more expensive competitor. Note (from the side) how the front panel makes a really sharp angle as it transitions to the top of the hat. From the front, it creates a little bit of a point. I didn't care for that; AGs don't do it. It also had a scratchy tag on the inside. Fine if you have hair, but I don't. If you want a hat for getting dirty though, or you don't care about wearing an imitation that isn't as good as the real thing, or you like plain hats, or you just want something that has nice ventilation while still giving your melon shade, this might be for you. Mine came crushed, so I sent them back, but I probably would have anyway.
