I found that the instructions for setup and assembly were at times difficult to follow. The You Tube link in the booklet was similar but not the same bike trainer. I actually found that looking on Amazon and their instructions and video was more helpful than their instructions. There are many spelling and grammar errors throughout the instructional booklet too. Initially I was unable to contact the company through the email but corresponded through Amazon. Their representative was very helpful in sending me the information to solve any issues that I was having, which was very much appreciated. So far so good with the bike trainer and a good one for winter exercise!

This is a very sturdy stand for converting your outdoor bike into a stationary bike. It is pretty quiet, but only if you have street tires. I tried it with my mountain bike tires and it was noisy enough to scare my cats. Once I switched the tire to a low tread option, it was quiet enough that I could watch TV at a normal volume and the kitties weren't running away. The problem is, now I have to switch out my tires when I want to ride outside again. The resistance adjuster doesn't change much, but combined with changing bike gears, you can get a solid workout using this. I'd recommend for anyone who is has a street bike, or if you have a mountain bike, be prepared to swap tires often.

I got back in to riding a road bike in the latter part of 2020 and put in a few hundred miles within a couple months, which for me didn't seem to bad. Moving in to winter where I live I wanted to be able to 'ride/train' indoors when the weather got to bad or snowy. This is my first resistance bike trainer stand so I didn't want to spend a fortune and I thought the price was pretty good. I've been using it with my Nishiki Maricopa road bike. I did have to change the rear "skewer" on my bike with the one included so the bike would fit on the stand, and I do leave the rear aftermarket skewer on the bike when I ride outdoors. But so far no issues with the bike trainer stand with a hundred miles or so on it. You can see the frame flex a little when you tighten in the bike. I don't often use the built in resistance setting adjuster 'knob', but just shift in to the higher gears on my bike. I did also set up a wired bike speedometer/odometer on the rear wheel so I know the distance I've pedaled each ride.

I have now been using this product for over a month. Overall, it is a good product and permits you to get a good workout in on the bike while in the comfort if your home. I find that I get a better workout with this stand, bc of the tension placed on the back wheel, than on the regular stationary bike at the gym. I usually ride for 30 minutes and end up with a good sweat. The stand is noisy as others have noted but not a problem when I have my ear buds in or have the tv on in the background. The bike can be a bit unsteady when going at faster speeds and you need to make sure you have tightened the wheel locks correctly. Purchased a bike mat to go with this which I recommend. I’m happy with this purchase and will continue to use.

The trainer seems OK in all regards except that the magnetic resistance control has no effect. I can change it from 0 to 8 and can feel no difference.
