I don't know what to say about this other than it works. I wouldn't use it on a mountain bike or any bicycle that has a carbon steerer tube, but on an aluminum it steel road/city/hybrid bike that doesn't experience extreme forces at the bars, it seems to work fine. I've got it on my old commuter road bike which looks ridiculous but rides fine. It's a little bit less stable but not bad once you're on it and used to it. I ordered the largest one initially and used it at the highest setting with an adjustable stem with even more rise. I'm 6 and 1/2 ft tall and have always ridden road bikes. I herniated a couple of discs in my lower back and could not ride for a couple years. this allowed me to get back into it without buying a new bike And by doing so, I have increasingly gained leg strength and lower back mobility without just making things worse which is what happened before I got this every time i did any kind of exercise. I ordered a second shorter one for my old race bike to see if I can get back on that and was inspired to get a hybrid/gravel bike that I can ride without an extension like this once i settled into what my new range of motion for my back was. All that to say, this got me back into cycling and helped me understand what kind of bike I needed without having to take a gamble on buying an extremely upright bike or recumbent that I would have only needed for a little while and hated long term.

My e-bike's handlebars are a little too low for my liking. I sit hunched over which is uncomfortable during longer rides. I found these stem risers which help move everything up. Easy to install (just make sure your brake cables and shift cables are long enough to accommodate). Nice tight tolerances make it seem like a perfect fit. Very happy with the purchase.
