    • Pressure Gauge Changes Reading

This is a very sturdy little hand pump and I hoped it was going to work for me. The problem was the difference in the pressure reading while pumping and then removing to verify the pressure. They were often VERY different. I'd take it off at 35psi, detach the pump with very little air loss and then re-measure the pressure at 20 or 22psi. It made trying to get a specific pressure very time consuming and frustrating. I'm returning it and advise them to figure this out because when they do, the product will be great! It is sturdy and there is very little air loss when detached, which are huge benefits. ... show more

Took a chance on this product as there were no reviews. Just received it today and tested it on my bike tire. I wanted to see what the gauge would read. I pumped my tire using a regular floor bike pump to 80 psi. Then verified it with a tire pressure gauge. Then hooked up the new minibike pump to the tire and it read 60 psi. The gauge is off by 20 psi. I pumped it a half a dozen more times, and the gauge did not show an increase in pressure. I send an email to the manufacture to ask them whether the gauge on a mini pump is defective and whether it’s worthwhile replacing it. The ad on Amazon said that the gauge is accurate, it’s not accurate if it’s 20 psi off. Other than that I have not tested it in a real situation where I’m changing a flat tire and putting a new tube in and pumping it up. I guess the idea is to get it pumped up to a point where you can ride at home and use your regular floor bike pump to pump it to the correct psi. But it would be nice if it would work that way as advertised. ... show more

Affordable and works well. Not the most efficient pump but it is indeed worth it’s value. The pressure gauge reads correctly as well since I tested it with my other two pressure gauges.

Hard to pump, gauge is way off. Instructions for Presta valve are a little weird and it's so short and inflexible that it's easy to damage the Presta valves. Would not get this again.
