I rolled the box off my pickup into my house. Light as long as you roll it. My grandson 21 yrs old came by and we took out of box. Took clear plastic bag off and proceeded to beat it with our baseball bats. Flip a little and beat. Repeat repeat. Rolled in all kinds of ways beat again. Layed soft cover down and rolled it into it. May need help to zip. Took 2 to wrangle it and close zipper. The picture isnt fluffed either. I didnt feel like doing it so looks a little flat but one fluff and its tall and rounded again. I was worried i may get stuck in it and not be able to get bk up. If you lay longways toward the edge you can then roll off onto the floor to get out of it. Older people, you know what im talking about. It is sooooo comfortable as long as you pull from side bottom and do one half roll and fluff. It does get compacted sitting or laying in it. But thats part of any beanbag. The old style bean bags are hard when compacted. Gamers. I dont game but i went in and sat on it sideways and im 5'6. It sat like a soft chair and my feet were on the floor. It was sooo comfortable. If i was a gamer i would never use anything else. Some gamers on other reviews didnt care for it. Some reviewers used it in place of a couch. No i wouldnt go that far and do that. Mabey in a dorm or for teens yes. My other teen grandkids love it also. I do not let my dogs in the play room or on it. At least on this one. Its black and soft and will grab dog hair. So if you have an animal that sheds do not get the black soft cover!!! pick another cover. Size...its huge and round and will not make a room look good like furniture does. Or tossing a couple little bean bags around. Its taller than the gate closing off the room. I kind of new that. Thats ok for the play room because the comfort of it, and fun for the kids is what i was going for. Ok and me to. I lay on it with my toddler grandchild and watch her movies together. Read or just hangout. It is wonderfull!!!. I fall into it and slighty jump to get in it completely and i do not worry about hitting ground. Now a teen jumping from something on it i dont know. We havent tried that yet. But i do lightly toss my grandchild on it and she likes it. So yes i love it and my grandkids and family does to. Im very happy with my purchase. Now for getting it out of the soft casing to wash it will be a bear possibly but doable. Cant say how long or well it washes or wears(holds up) zippers etc but its to early to tell. Seems that it is made very well. Can we move it out of the play room? Well its alot wider than door way. With a couple teens or 2 men you could probably make a go of trying to smash form and work it through. Have a way out or ext plan of the room for the one guy inside if it gets wedged tight in doorway and stuck. Hahaha. Not going to say it wont get stuck there. Havent tried it. If you dont like fluffing it by pulling up and giving it a roll, push with your body and pull and roll and hit it couple times after sitting or laying in it so its dreamy comfortable again then dont get it. I remember having to do that everytime with the old bead bean bags but they were light as air. This one you have to use your whole body to fluff it. Is it pretty...no not at all. But beaty is in the eye of the beholder. But yes its a big eye sore. But i knew that b4 buying it. Didnt get it for pretty in a room. Got it for comfort and fun. I've had my XXL Big Joe for around a year and a half now so I wanted to drop a review to say how great this bad lad is. I originally bought it for my teenage son but I use it more than anyone at this point. I'm a bookworm and it's my favorite cozy spot for reading. A few things to know: - I have a huge living room so the large size isn't an issue for me. It fits into a loveseat-sized gap between my couch and chair whether I set it down lengthwise or on its end. Might be a tight squeeze in smaller rooms. - The stuffing inside is a bit lumpy. It doesn't bother my body but sometimes it bothers my head. When that happens, I just shift the filling a little or grab a pillow. - I find myself "resetting" it every 3-5 days. I roll it around the living room until it's fluffed then put it back into place and enjoy making just the right body-shaped dent by doing a serious flop onto it (fun!) - I don't find it too heavy to roll around the room when I want to fluff it or clear the room to vacuum and I am not especially strong. - Lately, I am really liking standing it on its end. When I use it lengthwise I'll end up on the floor after the foam redistributes and compresses. Standing it on its side allows you to sit higher for longer. The only disadvantage of "portrait orientation" is that there's a lot of extra cover material to contend with but it's no lumpier than the filling. - When I do set it down lengthwise, it's big enough for two people and not all up in each other's grill but side by side not touching. - If you have a lot of random people coming through your living room, they're going to flop on it and ruin your perfectly shaped dent, but then you can just fluff it up again. Or tell them "no touchie." - I suppose it's not going to fit in with all styles of decor. It definitely brings a cozy, casual vibe to a room. To me, that's a plus! Overall, this is a great piece of furniture at an amazing price and much more comfortable than a couch or even a bed!

Can't even begin to express how much we LOVE this bean bag!!!! It is very well made, the inner liner is durable and the outer cover as well! If i had any kind of complaint it would be for the outer cover to be softer but that's an easy fix as there are 100's of options out there to purchase! I was hesitant, and honestly procrastinated on this purchase for quite some time! After literally hours of research and reading reviews, I finally chose We have an extremely small home, so I was a little concerned about the size.... thankfully i took the chance and bought it!!! It's almost like having a giant fluffy bed right in our living room! We have actually traded up from a queen size pillow top in bedroom to sleep on our bean bag every single night since purchasing it! It fits 2 grown adults comfortably (I'm 5'4 130lbs and he is 6'4 190 lbs)! Anybody that sits on it ends up asking where we got it, how much it cost etc. I have 2 friends that have already ordered theirs as well!!!! We're currently looking to purchase a new home, at which time we plan to purchase 1 or maybe even 2 more rather than purchasing a new couch!!!! If you're going to purchase a bean bag.... I promise this is THE ONE you want!!!!! Oh and our cats luv it too!!!!This picture honestly doesn't do it justice!!!!! 🤩

This blue is a gorgeous color, and I love how massive it is--right now it's playing the role of couch in my large living room and I am overjoyed with it (I got the XXL). As a 5 foot tall person I can create a crease in it that makes it "couch-like" where I can sit up with my feet on the floor for gaming, video calls, or watching tv, but I can also sit cross legged or sprawl on it sideways for maximum mushyness. I really am very glad I got it. It expanded RIGHT AWAY--the straps keeping it in literally popped off the minute I snipped them--but I was able to wrestle it into the case despite the expansion with relative ease. If you have a bad back, though, I recommend you ask a friend to help. Once it's where you want it, (which is where you should open it), I recommend you don't try to move it often; despite the handles it's HEFTY and hard to move. Also, the texture is more foam than bean pellets so if you were hoping to a bean bag feel or sound when you lay down, you won't get that. That being said, it is very comfy and holds your shape well once you sit/lie in it for some time. If you don't like that, prepare to roll it over with a friend OFTEN. I really do love it and am curious how it would fare to be sat on by multiple people at once--for now, I made one big dent in the middle and am happy to keep sitting in that dent, but it would be hard to change where the dent is by myself. I can stretch out my arms to both sides and still not reach the edges. I do love this, just be warned about how huge it is. It also doesn't keep that log shape forever, since, as I already explained, it gets squished/redistributed depending on where you lounge on it. One side note is that it doesn't support your back or head like a couch might, so you may want to put it against a wall and use pillows depending on how far back you like to lie.

I love this thing. I got the XXL and it is indeed very large — It’s basically a piece of furniture. I have it in the corner of my living room, in the space where an armchair might be. You have to fluff/rotate it often because it tends to get a dent in the middle and kinda consume you. It’s kinda difficult to wrangle when you’re flipping it— works better with 2 ppl, but I’m able to do it by myself still. The stuffing is foam chunks. I was able to break the stuffing up and make the bag a little more comfortable by stomping around on it and body slamming into it. I think the stuffing will continue to get better over time — I stomp on it a little every time I rotate the bag. But overall, the Big Joe is really wonderful. t’s just a nice giant fluffy nest in my living room. I feel like I’m a dog in my dog bed.

I have had this bean bag for over a year, and have had issues with it since I got it. First, it is comfortable, BUT flattens into a Pancake after an hour or two of laying on it. It is a workout to fluff it back up. Second, the inner liner has ripped multiple times, and I have to keep sewing it back together. (My stitches have been holding. It just keeps finding new places to rip.) I wound up spending $50ish on a waterproof liner to add to the existing stitched liner, and that keep ripping too! This bean bag had potential to be amazing, but it just lacks in every department. I wish I would have returned it when it first started going flat. THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT WORTH EVEN THE LOW PRICE IT IS LISTED FOR.

Was excited to get it, unpacked it, put the cover on it, let it expand, and tried it out in the living room... And once it was done expanding into the amorphous blob and billowing out the sides, it expanded beyond the space I set aside for it. It's definitely comfy though. Now I run into a huge issue where it is wayyyy too big for the space than I had plotted, so I intend to return it and get the next size or two down, but even putting it back in the plastic bag and using a vacuum I can't get it small enough to fit in the box. So I may be stuck with it, which may mean disposal and getting a cheaper product elsewhere to offset the cost, unless there are gigantic vacuum bags that exist.
