Bought this box for the school supply drive, but I had to shortstop it and keep just one of each color for myself. Even a pen snob like me can appreciate smooth writing with no funny stuff. This is the pen that made pens accessible around the world, and you won't find a better ballpoint anywhere.

Reviewing: BIC Cristal Xtra Smooth Ballpoint Pen, 1mm Medium Point, 120 Count | Easy-Glide System Ink, 60 Black & 60 Blue Ink Pens, Pack of 120 TLDR: Smooth, dependable pens that last a long time, write consistently, and excellent value. This 120 pack is a fantastic supply for home, school, or the office. I've been using these Bic pens for years, and they're still my go to everyday pen. They write smoothly, last a long time, and are consistently reliable. With 120 pens in this pack, it's probably a lifetime supply for my household, even if someone 'borrows' a pen and I never see it again, no worries. I have more! I like that this assortment includes both blue and black ink, which are the colors I use most often. The cap is another plus because I keep pens in my bag and car, and the caps help protect the tips while preventing accidental marks. These pens write smoothly without skipping, and I've never had issues with the ink flow. The barrel has subtle ridges that make them comfortable to grip, and the clear body lets me easily see how much ink is left. The pens come neatly packed in a compact box that's easy to store on my supply shelf. When I think of a standard ballpoint pen, this is the one that comes to mind. It's dependable, comfortable to use, and an outstanding value. If you need a large supply of quality everyday pens, this pack is hard to beat.

Are these the most comfortable or most amazing pens on the planet? No. Are they more than good enough for 19 cents a piece? Absolutely. These pens have a few roles to play. Are you constantly being asked to lend out your pens? Do they never come back? These pens are perfect for that. If someone keeps taking your pens, then let them take the 19 cent pens. They are also great for kids. Personally, I use them as the pens that are everywhere. In other words, in every room I might use a pen, I leave a few of these. If they end up drying out before they are completely used, I don't really care. They are 19 cents. They do write very smoothly. I would not say they're the most comfortable pens in the world to write with. There's only so much you can do with hard plastic. They do have a little give to them, but that's just because they've been slightly when you use them. Yes, if you have a kid or really anyone who likes to bend their pens intentionally, these will definitely break. As you probably guessed, the blue ones write in blue and the black ones write in black. Shocking stuff, really. Unsurprisingly, these aren't the kind of pens that like to write on just anything. They prefer regular old paper. If you try to write on something slightly slippery, it's not going to like it. Bottom line here is that these are 19-cent pens that are worth every cent.

You really can’t go wrong with these pens. They write smooth, the 1mm tip is just the right size for everyday writing, and they don’t feel cheap or flimsy. The 120-count is probably my favorite part because I’m constantly losing pens or having someone “borrow” one and never see it again . I can keep them in the truck, toolbox, house, office—pretty much everywhere. Simple, reliable pens that do exactly what they’re supposed to. Hard to beat for a big pack like this

Pens are easy to grip and show ink level. Although they aren't full like the old skool days, they still come with more ink than other pens out there. They are smudge resistant on most matte paper. These are better quality than most ink pens. Black and blue colors go on smoothly once you get the ink flowing. 💥Reason I deducted a star is I had to go through at least 6 pens before I had one that would actually "write the first time".✍️ I've included photos and a short video to show that. 👀Are they a good value? It's not bad, but they can be found much cheaper. Most discount stores offer a pack of 10-12 for about a buck. I can empty a cheap pen in one day lol. So this box full of 120 is appreciated 👍

Sometimes you just need an old fashioned ballpoint pen. I always prefer a medium point, and while my preference is always blue ink, sometimes you need a black pen and this box has both. The pens write cleanly without skipping and I haven’t experienced any bleeding or leakage. I hate when pens leave heavy splotches when you write, and these do not do that at all. I always get a clean, smooth line. You get a lot of pens for a good price, and because they’re not expensive fancy pens, I don’t feel bad if I lose one, which always happens because pens apparently come alive at night and walk away from my desk. Or my kids steal them. Probably the first thing, though. The blue is a vibrant blue and the black is a clean dark black. I toss one into my purse or bag and keep some in my car because I always seem to leave my shopping lists at home and need to write lists in my car. Overall, these are good old fashioned pens work like pens should.

There’s a reason BIC Cristal pens have been around forever: they just work. The ink flows smoothly without skipping, the 1.0 mm point gives you a clean, consistent line, and they’re comfortable enough to use for everything from quick notes to pages of writing. I especially love having a 60-pack because I can keep them everywhere and not have to hunt for a pen when I need one. They’re simple, reliable, and write surprisingly smoothly for such an affordable everyday pen. Sometimes you don’t need anything fancy, you just need a pen that does its job every single time, and these absolutely deliver.
