This little vase is so darn cute, and so darn practical... my only question is, what do I put in it? It can easily be use for a small bouquet of short-stemmed flowers, for pencils and pens, scissors, etc. The quality is fantastic, and it's so perfect that my 9yo daughter has asked for the other two to complete the collection for use on her new desk. I saw these at a bookstore in Vancouver that had just had a signing event with Jane Mount. There are 3 sizes and they are all lovely. We couldn't bring them all home in our luggage, and shipping from Canada was prohibitively expensive. I was delighted to find them on Amazon when we returned. So far I have only received the larges and smallest. The vases are boxed with a bit of bubble wrap and would be easy to wrap as a gift. This vase arrived in a box with other things, but the largest vase was just sent in its box in a padded envelope. Both arrived safely anyway. This vase is quite small, but still useful. ... show more
