These are good quality, solid weight curtains, however, a little different than I was expecting. I ordered the white ones and in the picture it looked like subtle dots and lines that gave it more of a sparkly shimmering type of look. But instead, they were actually solid gray and just a little louder and not exactly the look I wanted, so might be returning these. But they are good quality and nice looking if that’s the look you’re going for. I wanted more of an overall solid white look. They do a good enough job blocking the light, but I’m sure the darker colors would be better. I got the 54” and they were around $24 which was a fair price. ... show more

I was a little stunned when they arrived as I had not been expecting such a BOLD ornamental Christmas print. (although the title should have given me a clue). The design is quite dominant, and I was expecting it to be much more subtle - tiny silver dots with the connecting lines. The large bright shiny dots are about the size of a pencil eraser - and there are LOTS of them. I decided to leave the drapes out for a few days contemplating return. I decided the price was right and they'd be open most of the time, so the design would not appear quite so bold. In addition, they are up in my den which has an overall sci fi theme with assorted wall hangings and even lamps of that type design. So . .. the curtains being 1950 ish and bright and bold actually fit in with the room decor quite well. Quite the chore ironing them, but everything pressed out beautifully and they look quite nice. As for being blackout - not really total blackout, but darken the room enough to make it dim when bright direct sunlight is focused on the windows. I do have shades on the windows, but the light was still too bright for watching TV. The drapes combined with the shades make the lighting perfect for the TV. I am very happy with the bright color and the functional aspects of the curtains. For the price, they work quite well. ... show more
