Wahooo they really keep our room nice and dark. I also like the fact that they also help keep the cold out in the winter and keep the room cooler in the summer months. They are also machine washable, which I hope when that time comes to washing them that they still look just as nice as when I hung them new. These are the first set of blackout curtains I have owned, so I was very careful with how I prepped them before they went up. I read straight from this listing how to prep and one of them does let light through. Definitely not much, but enough to notice. They do their intended purpose for my household. As for wrinkle-free: I had ironed these on a low heat when they first came out of the package. One of these curtains are tied everyday and shows very little wrinkle when it's untied. The evening sun comes right through our glass door and shines on the television. The existing vertical blinds were old and broken, so we knew we wanted blackout curtains. The color (burgundy) on these is gorgeous. The packaging wrinkles have persisted, so we are going to break out the steamer. They also aren't 100% black-out.
