I wanted to love these but the plastic “blackout” liner has a strong chemical smell that doesn’t go away. I tried airing them out and the smell wouldn’t dissipate at all. — However, this same brand makes another version of this same shade WITHOUT the stinky plasticy black liner. It’s black fabric and doesn’t have the additional white fabric liner to hide it, but it also doesn’t smell terrible, so that doesn’t bother me. The only downside is that the other (better) version doesn’t have the tabs option on the back, which I needed. But I’m just going to swap my curtain rod bc they’re nice enough to make it worth it. It’s a shame this version isn’t made with fabric instead of plastic because then they would be perfect.

This is a beautiful pair of blackout curtains. The fabric is thick and high quality, and the color is a true grey with a really nice sheen. There are two ways of installing these panels: (1) by a rod pocket or (2) with the tabs on the back of the panel, and both options are very easy to maneuver. These curtains also drape really well upon installation. Side note: I don't know if I received a mispackaged pair of curtains or if the company's measurements are off, but I ordered these drapes in size 52 x 95 Inch and received them in a much shorter size, despite the packaging stating my requested size. So, I'm unable to use these curtains, as they are too short. The incorrect size of my curtains, though, does not take away from the value of the product. I highly recommend this set if you are looking for a really pretty pair of blackout curtains in a lush color.

These curtains do the job. Putting them on a set of windows made a big difference in the brightness in the bedroom. Actually, it made it very dark. They aren't sheer or lightweight but then, to be blackout curtains, you don't want them to be. They were easy to put up. If anything I didn't care for, was the looks on back side that are there to run the curtain rod through. They are wide and seems to do the job, They are a flat look so they tend to make the curtain lie flat on window. I guess that is part of the reason that it keeps it dark, but I am not sure it makes the side that I see very attractive. It also is made from the material that the curtain is made and I feel it might not wear well if the curtain is opened and closed a lot. Time will tell. I would recommend these curtains because they do darken the room.

I really like the look of the curtain, it’s nice and heavy. It hangs nicely but i have double doors going outside and it doesn’t quite fit the size of my door. They do keep the light out so that’s a plus. I would definitely order another pair to bunch up the ones I’ve already got. Good quality. Nice and heavy duty.
