They are silky and quite soft, but have a nice heft to them. They have very generous rod pockets on the back, so could be very flexible. I like them very much. My wife bought these for her "She room" she calls it her sanctuary. She loves them. They are soft and drape nice. They are the right color. She uses them on the closet so doesn't have to worry about privacy, but they would be good for windows.
