For $17 for two panels, if this is the type of curtain you are looking for, you can't go wrong. They are lightweight linen "look" curtains. They do not fully block light coming in but filter it nicely if you want some light coming in during the day when they are closed. Yet, at night, looking in from the outside with an inside light on, they provide privacy which was a priority for me. I stood outside at night looking in. Looked in so close to the window that I actually bumped my nose into the glass lol! I even spread one panel out so it wasn't full to see if it still gave privacy and it did. These are exactly what I wanted. Would I prefer them to be slightly heavier giving them a little more structure? Probably, but if actual linen curtains are available, I can only imagine what they would cost. I, personally, will probably carefully handwash these being careful with my nails not to snag them. I'll probably roll in a towel and hang dry them. It does say machine wash and dry but I don't want to risk them shrinking. I do think the 40" ones were a little shorter. Maybe if stretched out, but that doesn't help with the length needed for hanging. I have to return those and get the 45" long. I hung them using the back tab. Keep in mind for these types of curtains to look the way they should, the total width of the curtains should add up to triple the width of the window so they can be gathered together giving the look of pleats. However, using as one single panel that fits the window width would look nice too if that's the look you're going for. I bought the color Linen. I think these are a great value and recommend. ... show more
