These are crazy amazing! I’ve literally tried $30 per panel “blackout” curtains over the 100% blinds (the light sneaks around so the curtain needs to work, too). These are significantly better. Actually blackout (we have not had summer bright morning sun yet but we have bright days)!!!! When I first opened it I was super disappointed with the quality of the grommets and backing of the upper hem but they look fine when on the curtain rods, move easily. I cannot believe I went so long without real, full length curtains. These are described as 'blackout curtains' and while, if you have a room light on and the windows closed, a Messerschmitt may still be able to see enough light, it does make a lovely, dark, cozy cave in which to awaken on the weekends. Also, I live on a main road. The eighteen wheelers start their runs at 4:30am. Or earlier in the summer. You know, when I am finally able to sleep with my windows open after the lengthy Season of Death and Darkness (known by others as Win-Ter). Past summers...I could hear those mothers coming two miles away. And would follow their progress down the road, past my house, and beyond. Really, a very good example of the Doppler effect. But these curtains...oh, these curtains...I slept so well this summer. I would leave them open, awaken at about three am, close them, and nary a truck did bother my sweet slumber.
