I can’t see my neighbors lights when I’m home, and I feel like I’m wrapped in a cocoon of privacy. Without the linen sheers I could see a little light through them. They had few wrinkles and weren’t harsh ones. I was able to quickly steam them out. Panels matched in length. I like the design on them. I live a simple life with few possessions, so the design on the curtains give my place a bit of something in an otherwise mundane atmosphere. They have a silky feel to them. The silver has some shine to it. The back is plain black. I never thought I’d buy black curtains, but here I am, and I love it!!

All I can say is when we first came across these curtains, it was pretty much dumb luck. At the time I was looking for mustard colored curtains that would go with our eclectic, albeit overly dark, living room set up. The slightly retro (to my eyes) styling made them worth a shot. As the headline says, upon arrival we found the quality to be excellent, the material thick enough to mask out much of the daylight when needed, but yet not entirely opaque enough to make you feel like you're living in either a tomb, or a Marriott hours after you should have checked out. The initial two pairs purchased have been up for the better part of the year, and are providing excellent service and continuing to look sharp. Since the initial purchase we have added more of the yellow/mustard curtains to our bedroom, red pairs for the dining room and hall way window, and these blue sets for the makeshift library/record room. Again, the quality is top-notch, and the style is perfectly in line with our artsy mash-up. If we had more windows, we'd get even more of these...very happy with the purchase!

Living room-VERY energy efficient. Room temp was 78.4 (no A/C) put thermometer (updates every30 sec) behind curtains and temp was 106.7 after 20 mins. Took thermometer out from behind curtains and back into living room and back to 78.6 in about 20 mins.
