Definitely not proper blackout curtains, but get the room plenty dark for a good price. I can only see the tiniest bit of light coming through them, which is great. They also help insulate my windows from the summer heat nicely. We'll see how they do with the cold in the window. I got the navy blue ones and they look wonderful. I love the color and the way they sit. They are plenty soft, but that doesn't mean much for window dressing. Great quality for a price I didn't mind paying. I can't attest to the durability yet because I've only had them a few months, but they aren't falling apart and I find with curtains that have the metal hoops on them like these ones usually fall apart quicker. Standard blackout curtains. Does the job. Lightweight. White backside. Soft after washing and keeps the light and heat out. Overall decent for the pricing and don't wrinkle easily. Easy for a child to open and close.

These are nice curtains. Got them to block out the morning sun shining through the bedroom window. Only four stars because the still let in some light but they do block most of it. They work well enough that I didn't return them.

I actually really like these curtains a lot. I got them to help try and keep my apartment a little cooler in the summer and for privacy and these have provided both!! Nice curtains for a good price not heavy but not light either. I didn't do a curtain rod I'm using the sticky tape used for hanging stuff and it holds the curtains up just fine! ... show more

I really love these curtains! I put these in a basement bedroom where it gets extra cold in the winter from the cold seeping in through the window and I feel like these curtains do a great job at preventing that as much as possible. I don’t really have any issues with my room getting too hot in the summer so I can’t speak on whether or not they’re good at keeping the heat out, but it’s good with the cold. I also don’t get as much sunlight in the basement window because it’s in the basement, so I can’t make a full review on how well it does at blocking the sunlight out. I think it does a great job at blocking the sunlight out, though. I get sun beams in through the window in the morning which is annoying when I’m trying to sleep in, and these curtains do a wonderful job at blocking it out so I can stay asleep. I would say there’s still a tiny bit of light that you can see through the curtains but it doesn’t glare on your eyes at all— it’s more just if you open your eyes, you can see it through the curtains, but if you’re trying to sleep it won’t bother you. They weren’t wrinkled when I received them, but they did have some creases from shipping, so I ironed them. I love the color and I think they work and look great! Thank you! ... show more
