Ordered this in October to gift on Christmas. I left it in it’s original box that entire time. We unboxed the Thursday before Christmas, went out of town for 48 hours, and came home to the cushions perfectly filled out and ready to play with! The dark gray color is great, the fabric is soft, the cushions are large and sturdy. I liked that this came with additional pieces compared to the Nugget and the price was so much better, especially on sale. The zippers seem like good quality, but haven’t had to wash or remove the cushions yet. I have ages 3 and under so the cushions are a bit large and heavy for them to move around themselves, but I fully expected that. The only negative I can come up with is there is a tiny bit of a smell to the cushions. I’ve noticed it’s gotten better each day and is really only noticeable if you smell them up close. I would definitely recommend this if you’re looking for something that the kids can burn energy with, and is comparable to a Nugget, but at a better price point!

I was very nervous purchasing this kid couch based on previous reviews, but was pleasantly surprised with quality and durability of the cushions. I opened up the zippers as soon as I unwrapped the cushions and left it to expand over-night. The cushions inside the fabric expanded perfectly. I’d rate it 4.7 stars because of the mild funky smell. It’s gradually airing out and the smell is not as bad as when it was first unboxed.

This play furniture is great! It is very soft, sturdy, and so fun to play with. Can be used for forts, caves, couches, car ramps, puppet theaters, there are so many possibilities and I love how it encourages open ended play. This was significantly less pricey than other comparable products. Be aware that it does take some time to fully decompress, so when first opened it looks a little flat. Don't worry- just give it some time (like at least several hours) to fully expand.

*edit: Shortly after leaving this review I was contacted by the seller and offered a full refund. They were very easy to work with. I’d read reviews that said it smelled for a little bit but went away after 24 hours so I was expecting it to smell a littlest the beginning but wow. It was overwhelming! We had to leave the room after we opened it. We took off all the covers and laid out the cushions to air out which helped but didn’t solve the issue. It’s now been several days that we’ve had it out in a well aerated room, and it still stinks. Just walking into the room you can smell it! I just got back from Costco and saw a similar couch and I’m kicking myself for not buying that instead. It’s the same price and a cuter color. I just got this one because it’s thicker and sturdier but now I’m wishing I just gone with the Costco one. Also, it takes some serious muscle to get the covers back on some of the pieces. One of the zippers even ripped while we were putting it back on. But since I guess we can’t return it, I just sewed it up and we’ll see how long that lasts. Really bummed about this purchase.

Okay these are simply the BEST. My rough and tumble sensory seeking kid jumps off everything. He loves to roll around. It’s been used for so many different things. Slides of the couch, forts, little seats for tv time, jumping for the floor is lava, o sticks courses you name it. The only issue I have is it’s super hard to get them back on. I made the huge mistake of drying them normally but the instructions on the tag say not to! They shrunk :( while I did get them back on it was a chore. They clean up nicely though. The foam is super thick and durable. Not cheap! We even vacuum them. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. You do not need to spend $500 on name brand. Love the dark blue color and plan to order more from them!

Long, cold winters can mean a lot of indoor time here. I don't like the kids on my good furniture. This play couch is amazing! It is comfy to sit on with several setups. We also use it for sleepovers and it is super comfy to sleep on. The material is durable and has enough friction that the pillows stay where intended. Plus the triangle shaped pillows are genius- they don't move. Why do we not have more prism shaped pillows? 10 out of 10 recommend!

The fact that Amazon told me I had to fix my review buyer beware the quality of this item is mediacire at best. The smell and stench of the fabric wreaks of chemicals and fish. I spoke with Amazon and the seller they are willing to refund the item but you have to cover the cost of shipping which it’s not even worth it. It’s not comfortable at all super hard. I tried cleaning the covers to get of the smell the cover stains and the zippers are very cheap one of them broke. Worst Amazon purchase ever. The size is accurate will stain if try to clean.
