Bought this framed mirror for our new house, expecting just a reflective surface. Boy, was I surprised! Not only does it show my reflection, but I'm pretty sure it's also a gateway to Narnia. The frame is so elegant, even the evil queen (sometimes my wife) would trade her magic mirror for this one. I ordered this mirror for our master bathroom's recently remodeled work, and I gotta say it's stunning, elegant, just in love with it. The price is within my budget, if price is of no concern to you, I recommend get this. Package arrived on time. It was well protected. Because of a large breakable item, I was afraid it get damaged. Upon arrival, I immediately opened the box to inspect it. Fortunately, nothing was broken and no scratches, everything is good order. Installation was easy. My contractor installed it for me. At first, I wanted to hang longside from left to right, but discovered it would not center to my vanity, so decided to hang vertically with mirror stretching to the ceiling. Ok, it's not all the way to the ceiling, but to give you a visual. I thought it might be too high, but after everything, it looks great. It made my bathroom look thinner and taller. I am still able to use the mirror and that water does not easily splash it. It's so thin, edge-less, look way much better than I imagined. So we ordered this mirror for a bathroom redo. It is a very nice mirror, but there are two issues with the mounting system. First, it's a great idea! Very solid and sturdy EXCEPT it comes with two mounting mounting bars mounted on the back of the mirror, which is fine if you are mounting it on a flat wall. However, we have a tile backsplash wall that goes up fairly high (think 50s style) and the horizontal mounting bar hit the tile when we hung it vertically and since that bar was then on the right side of the mirror, the mirror hung slanted or twisted and not flat to the wall. We wrote to ask if there was a way to remove the extra mounting bar, but received no response. Wrote again, no response. In the end, we remounted the mirror using a spacer piece of wood the width of the mounting bar so it hung parallel to the wall. The other issue is that studs are 16 inches apart. We were using this for a bathroom that has a lot of pipes and wires stuffed between the studs. So to mount the mirror we wanted to hit studs rather than using drywall screws as in an old house we didn't know exactly where all the pipes and wires were and didn't want to hit them. To fix this we cut the mounting bar in half, drilled an extra hole on each side for support, spaced so they would hit the studs, and screwed them into the studs. They really should just make the mounting bar 17 - 18 inches long so people can mount it easily to studs if they want to. ... show more

The mirror came securely packed and was a breeze to hang—much better that gluing a mirror to the wall and hoping it stays in place. When we ran into a small issue, the customer service was outstanding. We’ve purchased two of these mirrors now and wouldn’t hesitate to buy another.

The mirror is beautiful. Finally got my contractor to install it today. After being hung for 5 hours my husband and heard a crash. The mirror detached from the metal plate in the back. We are so lucky nobody got hurt. Can’t return. I had up until the 28th to return. Never thought I would need to because I loved it. I cannot put it back up. Not even sure it can be put back up. This mirror was not cheap. It is the 40”. I cannot get a hold of the buyer. Update: my contractor came back today and had to take my vanity apart and reset it. The mirror is so heavy that it pulled the counter top away from the wall. He said he could try gorilla glue, but I am not sure that will hold it. Do not want this mirror to do any further damage if it falls again. If anyone from Amazon reads this please tell me how to contact seller ... show more
