My grandson is struggling through a divorce and has to raise an 18 month old. He recently sold his scope and has been trying to hunt with just a cheap rifle. I bought this for him. It wasn't very expensive at all but he loves it and says it has everything he needs.

I like the scope however in the description it stated 20mm & 11mm mounting I only received 11mm rings which will not fit any thing I own. A little disappointed with this but I will purchase the correct rings for mounting and move on.

For the price, it's good for rim fire or air gun... not sure about spring air gun. It does come with red or green cross hair, has BDC, and not heavy. You have to put the battery in the compartment. I put it on my .17 hmr and at 100 yds, nickel size grouping... did not drift, stayed zero for now. I would not suggest for center fire rifle. It is not a dusk dawn scope. As soon as sun went down, scope turned dark inside, did not collet light well. Figured it would for a 40 objective lens. I would buy it again for rim fire, but don't think this will replace a center fire rifle. ... show more
