This is a nice desk! It's sturdy without looking too chunky. It is heavy! But it doesn't look heavy. The wide legs is what makes this desk sturdy, but again it's not too much. What I like is that this desk has a little bit of a back panel that hangs down which helps me to hide all the ugly cords from my electronics behind there. The storage space is nice and looks a lot better than the fling cabinet we were using before. It was not over difficult to put together but it does take a little time. Overall, it's a good desk. The metal framing at the front provide good support on the table and there is plenty of room for feet underneath. Everything came out sturdy. It takes about 2 hours to put together and you only need 1 person to do it (even though it says 2). The instructions are clear and they provided a few extra screws as well (which is always appreciated for the odd time I lose one). Overall, it looks nice and works great. ... show more

It takes hours to put this together, BUT it turns out nicely, and the prefabrication is good. All tools, diagrams, and parts are identifiable, so you can assemble solo or with help. The quality is probably more of a 4 - Star level, but after considering the price, I decided to give it 5 - Stars. Overall, it's pretty sturdy and provides organization. I do wish the depth of the desk was more because, while the length is fairly good, the depth is too narrow for using multiple monitors and a laptop even with the one tier platform that comes with it.     • Easy to assemble and looks great despite some mild issues

Putting this desk together was very straightforward. The directions are very clear and make the entire process relatively easy despite the relative complexity of it and the time required to get it all assembled, probably about 2 hours. The quality of the materials is about on par with anything you'd find at a typical big box retail store and some areas are better in some ways, others worse, but balances out about the same. My only real complaint with this is that everything was really dirty, as in covered in dirty fingerprints and shows evidence that it had been attempted to be wiped off at some point which just ended up smearing dirty, greasy prints around. I had to go through piece by piece with a rag and some cleaner to get everything clean as it went together. Not the end of the world, but definitely really annoying and adds a lot of time. There were 2 small chips in the desk top, but they are pretty small and pretty hard to see unless you're aware that they exist. Overall I am pretty happy with it despite those issues. At this price point I would expect much better QC, but maybe mine was just the odd one that slips through. Regardless, the end result is a nice desk that we enjoy using as a guest space. ... show more

This desk is nice and elegant even though it has a simple design. The L shape fits well into my home's corner and it looks fairly good. It's pretty straight forward on how to assemble this, and the parts all fit well. The desk top has a nice wood feel and looks pretty durable for light use. I haven't seen any scratching on the surface yet even though I've been sliding around a few objects during its use.
