This was my very first skate board so yes I’m a beginner. And it worked perfectly for me I have no complaints the design is strong & sturdy. I’m 5’2” and 130lbs I have no worries about it supporting my weight. The grip tape works just a good, once I got comfortable with my balance it was kinda hard to fall off of it when I was just cruising. I haven’t started doing airborne tricks yet but I’m sure the board will stand up to a little more wear and tear. Definitely a great quality board for me to learn on.It is very suitable for teens to use. I Love ❤️ it!!! ... show more

First, let me state I am no way a skateboarding expert and this is just a dad reviewing a gift for my kids. I have no feedback of full functionality to compare against any other board. When I was a kid this would have been a top of the line unit. Not sure where it falls today. With that said, I got the "sky" design and it is a beaut'. Very cool in my opinion. The deck is fully covered with grip tape. Has concave ends and sides...think that makes for better tricks? Wheels seem fine, they are not smooth, but have tiny ridges on them. Not sure if that wears down over time or if that is a preferred style? When I was a kid we had flat smooth wheels. The bearings don't seem all that great, may want to swap them out if you want more speed. The trucks are sturdy, seem ok. Board does fine with my 8 and 10 year olds. Gave it 4 stars because I had to tighten some of the nuts on the trucks. Good thing it comes with a t-handle tool for this and it was a quick fix. Again, I am not sure if this is common or QA on the board is not great. ... show more

I like how fast this was shipped and how fast it was delivered. The skateboard has this curve that allows your feet to be held in a way. Though I’m not sure if it’s a helpful or unhelpful feature. The skateboard comes with these wheels that might be better if switched out for other shock absorbing wheels. As I got a contusion of my ankle after using the skateboard. I’m going to try cruising around with the skateboard after my ankle heals and seeing how that goes. Though I love the design on the back of the skateboard. It came with the tools to tighten the trucks which was really helpful. ... show more

This is going to make a great Christmas gift for my nephew who wants to get started skateboarding. The board is well made, smooth, and flawless. The grip tape is well applied and done properly, something not often seen in mass produced boards. The trucks are not of the highest quality but they are a great starter set that will help kids learn to adjust them and tweak them. The wheels and bearings are top notch and spin for days. The fit and finish of the entire board is amazing and there are plenty of decals included to decorate it how you like. The included skate wrench is a nice addition to the package and again goes to teach a new skater how to tweak their board. This is a great buy! ... show more

I was called completely impressed with this skateboard. It comes with a key that allows you to unscrew and nut on the skateboard. It’s a really well made skateboard for beginners and the graphics are crazy good. I was skeptical about this complete. Once it arrived I tested it out. Im 34 year old and have been skating since I was 14. This is a 7 ply wood and its pretty sturdy without being super heavy. Ive seen Walmart completes that are heavy as rocks and this board is closer to something you would buy in a skate shop. IM happy with this board and would be happy skating it myself. Great build quality! This is a good 1st skateboard for my child. I'm sure it has it's flaws, but a good starting point - I'm impressed with how nice it feels to ride on as an adult, so it should be great for a child/teen - or even an adult.
