Doesn't come with any sort of diagram or mounting instructions but it isn't hard to figure out how to mount it. The steering wheel feels very cheap and the center emblem (sticker) with a childish picture of a dolphin doesn't want to be attached. The whole thing was a good deal and mounted to my 16ft boat without any issues. It does not come with any hardware to mount it to the actual motor. All in all it is what I expected and seems to be doing the job for now. If I get a few years out of it I will be surprised. ... show more

Used for our 1977 pontoon. Worked as expected. I could have used a bit longer size. I believe the length is the entire length from end to end. So be sure to order it long enough.
