I needed a way to launch my 12 foot alumacraft from my truck bed without a trailer and this boat launch system was the best choice from researching the other available systems. I have launched three times since installation and it makes it easy for one person to do it. Wheels easily come up or down with a quick pin and lock in place and if you are trolling around in shallow water with the wheels down it protects your prop as the wheels hit first. With the wheels up there is no hinderences as they are put up of the way and their lightweight does not impede the motor performance.

*Heads of bolts should be seen from exterior. I installed bolts backwards and the clip wouldn’t go in when I first took it out. Dumb on my end. Aside from that, the wheels work perfectly! Very sturdy as well. I have these on an inflatable so weight isn’t a problem; however, even if I had a larger johnboat, I still wouldn’t be worried. These things are awesome!

Pretty solid hardware. I used a good marine grade adhesive / sealant, e.g. Loctite PL or 3M 3000, 4000, 5200. I used it over the area of contact and not just the holes. (I used loctite cuz menards had it.) The biggest PITA ("pain") is that you have some pretty long, pretty sturdy SS bolts protruding through the transom, that i had to cut off and grind down as my boat is an inflatable and the protrusions looked like a puncture risk. If you don't mind the long bolts sticking through, then it's not a problem. Remember you are drilling through your transom so take time to measure, mark and drill ONE TIME. Product works great after install.

Works perfect for my 10' tender inflatable BestWay tender. Lauches 120lb boat with ~100lb of gear over gravel no problem. Easy enough to fold and lock while in the water (returing to ramp). I am using an electric outboard and I wonder if reviews saying wheels popped off the rims were using a gas motor on a jon boat, which would be much heavier, as they do just seem to be "pressure fit" to the rims.

Used on my 10 foot inflatable works well rolling over uneven ground but due to buoyancy of wheels pins not easy to manipulate under water still for what it will do it’s a good value

Super easy to install. Worked great put it on a 14ft 44in job boat. Wheels around like a pro. Was able to pull/push my boat 50yd to a flooded field to bowfish. Just awesome. Update 5/16/20 Have used the boat with the wheels a few dozen times. It is amazing how well they work. The wheels float and function great. No sign of wear on the shafts and everything looks and worms like new. Great item and is a must have for smaller boats.
