LOVE this table. It's so convenient to be able to eat on the sofa and watch a movie with how the top lifts up. It's very sturdy and looks great! Assembling it was a little challenging. It was not super clear which direction the mechanism needed to be screwed in. And I did it wrong first and needed to redo that whole section. Even with that difficulty, it's definitely worth it. The instructions say 45 min to assemble. It took 3 of us, one a former Marine heavy vehicle mechanic, 1.5 hrs. Not difficult, just tedious. Uses dowels to align the parts. It is sturdy, but you could really make it SOLID if you glued the dowels in. The company gives you a few extra fasteners so losing one along the way is not a big deal. Have a drill and/or screw gun fully charged and ready to go. It has a LOT of storage area. Allows you to access the contents quickly. Will fit a CAR-15, folding 590/870 or similar. Top fits nice. Assembly: 2 people recommended unless you have a proper work area to do it on. (Last step needs 2 people no matter what) A lot of the reviews talk about how the instructions are unclear or seem out of order. I think they listened to the reviews because the instruction were still pictures BUT they made it so no steps got in the way of the the other steps. Sturdiness: Pretty sturdy. It is made of particle board but what isn't nowadays. The lift top is better than I expected especially for the price. It wobbles a tiny bit when putting it back down but nothing that makes me think it's going to break. Storage: so much storage space. Love it! I bought 3 storage bins and they fit perfectly. Quality: overall it's ok. That's where my 4 star comes in. The legs were dirty in the grooves. Some of the wood pieces at the edges were already chipping (because it's particle board). Luckily majority of the chipping was hidden but some not so much. Also there are no extra pieces so do NOT lose any of the parts or else you're out of luck. TL;DR: I am very happy with the product. Lots of great storage. Like the lift top. Quality overall is okay but some chipping. ... show more

I love lift-out tables but didn’t want to go for any nice full price furniture. The top that I received was much more red than the pictured product. The top is laminated so you can set drink right onto it and just wipe up any condensation that gathers with no water marks. The particle board sides and top are sturdy and the legs are solid wood which is nice since I’d rather not have particle board legs. The top can be opened with one hand if you grab it in the middle despite what others have said. It was easy to assemble and for attaching the top to the hinges, I first just screwed the hinges onto the top, placed a stack of books on the main body and placed the top balancing on the books so it was raised above. I then just lined the lower part of the hinges up with the corresponding holes on the main body and voila. The holes for the cam lock fittings aren’t all even so the cam locks aren’t all flush with the furniture body but the only parts where this shows are the cubby spaces on the bottom which I have filled with bins anyway. I’ve read that people had to make some of their own holes but mine came with every hole pre-drilled. All in all you get what you pay for. I did my research or so I thought and found the exact table I wanted. Imagine my surprise that two and a half months later I find it coming apart at the leg. I literally took this straight to the trash. The instructions are way too complex and often are not pictured accurately. The wood is either press or particles board. Do not waste your money like I did.

Let me start by saying that for the price, this table is a steal. Its a nice design, plenty of storage, and very inexpensive! But here are the problems I encountered with it: 1. I was sent the wrong parts. The pictured panels were supposed to be mirrored but I got 2 of the same pieces. I needed to drill holes in one of them which was very inconvenient and much more work than expected. 2. The table top was chipped. It’s on the bottom side so not devastating, but still uncool. In conclusion, the finished product is fine (the hinges are a bit wobbly, but that could be because I had to drill my own holes) but the assembly was a hassle.
