LOVE this table. It's so convenient to be able to eat on the sofa and watch a movie with how the top lifts up. It's very sturdy and looks great! Assembling it was a little challenging. It was not super clear which direction the mechanism needed to be screwed in. And I did it wrong first and needed to redo that whole section. Even with that difficulty, it's definitely worth it. I also like the storage and how it's hidden under the top of the table.

The instructions say 45 min to assemble. It took 3 of us, one a former Marine heavy vehicle mechanic, 1.5 hrs. Not difficult, just tedious. Uses dowels to align the parts. It is sturdy, but you could really make it SOLID if you glued the dowels in. The company gives you a few extra fasteners so losing one along the way is not a big deal. Have a drill and/or screw gun fully charged and ready to go. It has a LOT of storage area. Allows you to access the contents quickly. Will fit a CAR-15, folding 590/870 or similar. Top fits nice. Looks like a normal coffee table. Well worth the 129.00.

This purchase didn't really go very smoothly. We were delivered 4 legs, but unfortunately all 4 were legs for the same side of the table. We made extremely sure to triple check which pairs of legs we need before contacting the seller again for a return or replacement. They contacted the factory to check what legs we need based on attached images, then suggested we might have mixed up our sides and sent us another #8 pair of legs despite our request for #9. About 2 weeks later we got the new legs, but of course we were correct from the start and needed #9. Whatever the numbers were, we eventually found a drill to borrow and just fixed it ourselves. All that said: Seller was extremely courteous and patient while trying to resolve the issues. The table is quite sturdy and the wood definitely doesn't feel as light and crappy particle board type material cheaper amazon furniture uses. We move it pretty often and have not really seen any issues with it. The biggest issue I would take with the construction is that it's mostly built from cam locks and nuts which will need re-tightening every now and again but they do make for an easy construction. The manual instructions were decent but I would definitely recommend a helper towards the finish when the top board with extendible legs needs to be mounted. The storage compartment is big enough to store 4-5 tabletop game boxes alongside differnet playing cards. dice and whatnot. We use it quite often. The max weight when extended is rated relatively low, but we find the table top to be quite study even when extended. There is also sufficient storage space under the table itself, in the open shelves. The table leg pads sold with the table eventually fell off so we replaced that with some felt.Worked much better The lower grade on the sturdiness is there because of the lock nuts that every now and again need a bit of retightening but, like I said above, the table is actually made out of better material than most of the cheap amazon furniture and we quite happy with the overall construction. Quite honestly, its not top end super high quality product, and the seller response time does need some work but overall I think it's a pretty good investment for the cost of the table.

I was pleasantly surprised with this piece. It is very sturdy and looks like it costs more than it does. My only complaint is that I was missing the cam covers. I contacted customer service and they were very responsive and took care of the issue. I was very impressed with the way they handled it. Would definitely recommend. I should add that my 15 year old put it together by himself. I only had to hold a piece at the end. So I would say it's easy to put together.

This table was not the easiest to assemble, but it was well worth it!! It has a pretty wood look, but is SO EASY to clean! My toddler stands on it (we're working on that lol) and colors on it. I literally just wipe it down and it looks brand new! The storage under the lid holds blankets/books/remotes - things you don't want the kids to have easy access to. Then we put baskets in the little cubbies at the bottom so our toddler has easy access to toys, but we can clean up easily and still make the living room look nice. The top is heavy enough that small kids cannot lift it alone. For adults, I do find it is easier to lift from both sides to make the lift smoother on the hinges. We also use the lift top when using laptops or eating a casual meal. I seriously love this table!

It was not easy to assemble. The instructions are a joke. I feel like the screws were too small for the lifting action, as it doesn’t seem as secure as it should be. I also wish the storage was accessible from where you sit instead of on the opposite side. For $130, I guess I would’ve expected a bit higher quality. It’s a very pretty coffee table but not sure it will last as long as I hope.

Low cost, bought on Prime day, wasn’t sure what to expect. Very happy with this table well made, everything was in box and pieces fit together with no issues. Use as a coffee table, and when top is lifted, as a work station. Bought inexpensive large desk pad on Amazon to cover top when working. Would recommend.
