I love the color, the size, and the look of this coffee table. Assembly was very easy; instructions were spot on. It's a one person assembly until you get to the final two steps - putting the "lid" on - then, you need one person to hold the "lid" whilst another screws in the hinges to the table. It's a very sturdy coffee table. I do worry about the "lid" when lifting it, but with the rod support, it should be ok. It think it's just me being a worry wart. Every pre-drilled hole was perfect. Fit together flawlessly. Took about an hour and a half. End result is handsome, though a little wonky opening and closing, but solid otherwise

Directions could be improved, you have to handle the table top twice for the assembly? And the holes for the stabilizer bar, could be raised 1/2”. Push the table up to your sofa and stack pillows to hold the top for securing the hinges(if you don’t have help) Overall a great table with plenty of storage for laptop, remotes, bill paying station! ... show more
