These drums were well made, and easy to put together. Adults were sitting on the tiny stool and playing them, No problem at all. Our daughter was not happy when we showed up with the drum set for her 5 year old, but by the end of the day, she admitted that it was a great gift.

The drums were a decent quality, better than anticipated. But the kick pedal is not very sturdy at all! If an adult steps on it, the pedal quickly bends in the middle. It bends back out. But eventually that bending will cause the metal to become compromised.

This is the perfect size for my six year old grandson. He said it was the best birthday present ever. He loves it. I'm not so sure about his parents. It's loud but a good downstairs toy. Very good for a little one interested in the drums
