This one for the lights has stickers instead of actual brake lights and the built is just less durable. My son is 2 years old and loves it! We use the remote with it because of his age. We like that it has a remote, however, that remote sucked dead three sets of batteries in two days but we didn't use it that much as we didn't even get thru the first charge on the car itself before having to replace the control batteries. The other thing with the remote I do not like is there's no off and on switch. And a lot of the times it starts blinking out of nowhere and was making me have to turn the car off and back on so it would reconnect and work again. Wouldn't be such a big deal if my son knew how to drive it himself but when I was far away from home and it did that I could not figure out why it kept doing that and would just stop working until I turned the car off and back on, then it blinks a while and finally works again. I bought brand new Duracell AAA batteries and according to the control, it still only showed 2/3 bars for battery life power. Which I didn't understand because it would never show fully charged whether new or not. They just get sucked down in a day like 30-45 mins of use. The Bluetooth works nice but the volume is not very loud at all unfortunately so I didn't care for that as much either. Putting it together was a pain in the butt haha the getting started is the hard part but once you're past the initial couple steps it was pretty smooth sailing. Took roughly 50 minutes to get it out together between me and my man. Other than that's it can be adjusted to a faster setting under where the plug for charging the car is, and it can be in a higher speed or switch it back for lower speeds. The low speed I can comfortably walk next to him without going too fast for me or letting him get too far ahead and the faster speed let's him get a decent distance ahead of me. He just loves riding around. If the remote issues were fixed honestly my review would be a much happier one. However, all that being said, he loves the car because he just gets to enjoy chilling and riding. But from the parents perspective and knowing what it should and shouldn't be like, I would be much happier with it overall if those quirks were worked out but am still glad I got it especially for the price, which is not bad at all considering what else is on the market with remotes and how they're $300+. So I am happy for that that he got a nice gift without breaking the bank too badly and that he's happy with it. If he's happy I'm happy ! ... show more

Husband said it was easy to build, and felt like good quality, the color is so pretty (light blue) , the Bluetooth connects with no problems. We are very excited to give this to our two year old for Christmas!

It's 2023 and we purchased this 12v Jeep in 2020. For the money this can't be beat. My son has rode it so much that the wheel treads are worn out. It still grips well on a surfaces even though they are worn. We have not had any problems with this unit. I would say it's not the most powerful but it gets the job done. The battery is a little small so it doesn't run long enough before it needs a recharge but that can easily be fixed by purchasing another 12v battery with a higher AH rating. This will make a huge difference in runtime. The cost to upgrade it about 40 bucks and take like 10 min to install . If you are on the fence about buying this product , just buy it. It's been a good machine for us. We will be retiring ours soon since our son is outgrowing it but will probably pass it on to another family that can use it. ... show more
