mat is light weight and easy to fold but the vinyl is a very cheap material. the pull handles to carry the mat ripped on the first day of use. nothing was being rough i was folding it up and rotated to carry and the handles ripped at the stitching. still use mat for intended use but may look at better quality in future. ... show more

This is a big mat! The length is perfect for practicing beginning tumbling skills while not in the gym. The 2 inch thickness provides peace of mind since our mat sits on a hard floor. The bottom has the hard side of Velcro to attach other mats. We just have the one mat so we attached strips of the soft side of Velcro to it to protect our flooring. My daughter has been practicing her gymnastics on this mat now for a few months, and she loves it. It works and supports so much better than a yoga mat for gymnastics...Perfect size for her to practice in the house!! I may get another one later on, but it'll be able to connect, so that will be nice!

This is a pretty big mat. I originally purchased it for my granddaughter for Christmas. When I got it, I realized it was too big for her to maneuver by herself. It also takes up a lot of space. I bought her the colorful one from target and kept this one for my home because I wanted one for the grandchildren to tumble on when the visit.
