i have large feet and i live in south florida. some of our beaches have a layer of rock that you have to walk over before you get to enjoy the water. these water shoes are great for maneuvering over the rocky layer without discomfort to your feet. the soles aren't super thick and bend well to the shape of your foot. the top layer of the shoe is thin enough for water to quickly drain when you walk out of the water spot. the shoe is a little loose (i have narrow feet), but the insoles have good traction so you wont lose your balance while wearing them. i even used them during yoga sessions to hide my feet from my fellow yogis haha. these are great water shoes and wonderful for beginner yoga.

This sole is a one-size-fits-all for it's size group. So it's wide and flat, and the mesh can't conform to your foot, which makes it loose, and dangerous for the purpose is intended for. If I push my heel to the back there's almost an inch leeway at the toe, and if I push my foot all the way into the toe there's an inch leeway at the heel. Didn't give me confidence in my footing. I'm a five and a half to six size shoe, and this was the smallest size they had available. Being afraid that all the women sizes would be this way for small feet, I checked the children's section (I know kids 4 is just about equivalent to my size) and spent more money on a well-made brand with adjustable strap. It was definitely worth the switch. These might be okay for larger or more plump feet, but the quality is still not that great. It may only depend on what you intend to use it for.

These lightweight non-slip water shoes are accurate in size. I ordered a size 43/44 which translates to a 12-13 women’s size or a 10-11 men’s size. I got these for my husband, who needed water shoes for our upcoming vacation. They are perfect for packing in a suitcase since they are pliable and can easily be folded or rolled. My husband said they are comfortable, very light, fit well, feel like a second skin, and will do the job. There is no inner arch support but water shoes are meant to protect the feet from hot sand, rocks in the water, hot pavement and keep you from sliding and falling on wet tiles at a pool. They will definitely do all of that!
