I enjoy drawing or working on small crafts but I spend a lot of time resting in bed due to chronic illness. I needed a flat surface to work & this lap desk helps a lot. I like that it folds flat to store while not in use & it adjusts & locks vertically. The flat top can be tilted to get a better angle. If you sit with your legs crisscross-applesauce it doesn't give a lot of space at its highest position but it fits comfortably when sitting upright normally. This desk meets all my expectations and more. It is large and sturdy, it tilts, and height is adjustable. The cushioning on one side is a feature I didn’t think I needed, but it is very useful to keep things from falling over when the desk is tilted.
