This mirror is gorgeous. The black is matte and sharp -- a quality metal. It came packaged very safely and showed no sign of damage. The glass claims to be shatter-proof, which obviously I cannot test, but the overall quality shows me that it is sturdy and well made. My main issue is that this is a 23.6 pound mirror (as stated on the product page, as well as the shipped box itself). This is extremely heavy and you will need to take care to hang it properly. It may be a lack of knowledge on my part, but I have never had a mirror this heavy. Upon research, it does seem to be fairly normal, but I may need a stronger anchor to feel satisfied personally (it comes with the part and some online research shows that many people use only that, but I am simply over cautious). Overall, it's a great quality and looks gorgeous, I am just stressed about proper handling regarding installation and that is the only reason I reduced the rating to four stars. ... show more

This mirror is great for my smaller bathroom because it's quite large and takes up a lot of wall space, though not too much. The glass is clear and does not distort and it doesnt weigh a zillion pounds like some mirrors. It was easy to hang and even comes with a neat level strip to make sure it's straight and hanging properly. I love the depth of the frame since lits of these types of mirrors have very narrow ledges around them. This is nice and deep and looks much more expensive than it is. Mirror itself is very heavy and seems nice. However, the mounting hardware is very poor. Given this style of mirror, we cannot mount it without the hardware. Defeats the purpose of paying so much for this style of mirror just to have it lean against the wall.

The mirror came with necessary mounting hardware, and a handy calibrated marking measure with an embedded level for either horizontal or vertical mounting. The mirror quality is excellent; not sure if there is a measurement for the reflectivity of the mirror, but it is very good.
