I wore this to a formal dinner party and got so many compliments...more than any other dress I've ever worn. The fit was perfect--I'm 5'6" 185 lbs 34D and the large size fit great. It was very slightly loose through the torso but not overly so, very comfortable to wear. The sequins are a nice touch, not overly sparkly but still eye-catching. This would be great for an anniversary dinner at a nice restaurant, corporate event, or as a mother of bride/groom at a wedding--any place you want to dress up a bit. It's dressy without being pretentious. The style and cut is very forgiving and works well on a variety of body types, so if you're on the fence at all, get it. I can't see how you'd be disappointed.

Pretty dress. I felt comfortable in it. Loved how it moved & flowed. It came with a lightweight sheer shawl. I'd consider it more semi formal though because of the teacup length. On me, I did not like the length & the reason for the 4 stars is that the inner layer is about a foot shorter than the outer sheer layer. It just looked odd. I ended up going with a different dress for the event I went to but I would've worn this one if the skirt layers had been the same length. Its a shame because I really did love the fit. It was true to size. I ordered a large. I'm about 185 pounds, 5'5, 38C.

I did not get the coverup that is in the picture when I ordered this dress. I ordered this dress because it’s for my daughter‘s wedding and I liked it but what I was disappointed was that the cover-up didn’t come with it and I would like to have the cover-up but do I have to pay extra for it if that’s the case I am not satisfied with this dress it’s beautiful, but I’m not satisfied the picture in the Amazon needs to be changed if the cover-up is not included.
