Easily five stars all the way. These are not flimsy nor bendable like most. I have had these for well over a year now outside in a greenhouse and they still look awesome and still completely functional. This is next level garden tools and so affordably priced as well.

I love the wooden handles and the sharpness of the blades on these shovels and fork. What I didn’t realize is how flimsy this metal actually is. I was merely digging up weeds with the travel and the metal bent. I’m not that strong so it must be pretty weak metal. It is 15 days past the 30 day return window. That is too short if you had to wait until warm weather to work in your garden. I have contacted customer service to see if they will well replace it, I will update this review if they do ... show more

This is a very nice set of garden tools by Berry&Bird. I was quite impressed with the quality. The steel is considerably thicker than that of my other garden tools, I shouldn't have to worry about these bending with use. They feel strong and sturdy. I've gone through my share of hand shovels through the years! The handles are a good size for my hands too. I'd never had a widger before, so I wanted to try that out soon after they arrived. It worked great at getting deep rooted grass out of a planter. I slid it around the inside edge of the pot, then reached down under the roots to get it out. I'd tried to pull this grass out before but it always just broke off at ground level. The widger successfully removed it. This widger seems like a rather versatile tool. I think it will do great at lifting plants out of little cell packs too without causing them damage. I must say Berry&Bird makes an impressive presentation of their product too! Each tool comes in its own drawstring bag. When you open the box you feel like you've received something special. These would make an excellent gift for anyone who loves working with plants. ***About me: Integrity is very important to me. Reviews I've posted will be from items I've had direct contact with.
