I really like this mount set up and it’s very quick and easy to use. However, I found that it sticks out pretty far and creates a snag hazard. It also makes the charging cable easier to pull out. Works great on a tripod, but not so great if you’re hiking to your spot. I ended up taking off the battery and zip-tying it to my foregrip. ... show more

More bang for the buck. It’s not actually a thermal unit. It’s highlights where the image is blurry from heat to recognize heat. But, in the settings actual enhancements do bring out and contrast the heat source to differentiate the target that’s hot. Way better than night vision alone. Well made, quality unit that is perfect for night hunting.
