This is a very versatile and well sized rug. We initially used it in our living room for our grandson's visits. Now that he has his own bedroom at age 3, he is now using it there at his parents townhouse. He loves it and likes to sit on it and use his matchbox cars, recue trucks and backloaders on it. It is well made and durable. In other words while it isn't soft and comfy it is made to survive a lot of wear and tear both from toys on top of it and foot traffic. It's colorful and adds to the fun/informative element of his room. We love it.

Well it was a nice rug, and the printing on the image is fairly detailed, feels very smooth and is good for cars with larger wheels. But within the first week of being used by my children, some of the strings started to become unraveled and of course my children wanted to pull on them, and next thing I knew there was a big mess and web of plastic fiber around the room. Don't recommend for small children who aren't going to be extra careful with it I guess because ultimately it doesn't seem to hold up to just average play and use

This is a really fun interactive rug for children. It reminds me of one I had growing up. This is a really nice design and size. The material is also very soft for a looped rug. My nephew had a good time playing with his car on it. The nonslip backing isn’t very nonslip. I had to keep straightening the rug back out every few minutes. Unfortunately, the Velcro on his shoes kept getting stuck and has already caused the rug to pull in every spot they stuck. I would have hoped for better durability for a children’s play rug. For this reason, I am deducting a star. Overall, this is still a very fun play rug for young children.

I got the BEQHAUSE Kids Play Mat in the City Traffic Road design... and it's a solid win overall. The rug is extremely well made... not thin or flimsy... but definitely feels more like a commercial-grade carpet than a soft baby mat. I actually have another rug that’s a bit softer and more cushioned... which is nicer for when she inevitably slips and bumps her head... but this one is definitely better for crawling and mobility. The backing is non-slip, which helps... it’s not magic... but compared to the other brand I bought... this one stays in place much better. What I really like, though... is the city street map layout. It’s surprisingly fun... even as an adult... to take little toy cars and zip them through the “streets.” The baby’s not quite old enough for that yet... but I know she’ll get there soon... and I can already tell she’ll have just as much fun as I’m having. If I could go back... I probably would’ve gotten the two-piece combo to make one big carpet. The single rug is a good size... but once she starts walking and getting into more active play... we’re definitely going to want more space. Still... even as-is... it’s a really good mat for crawling babies and future toddler playtime. My Ratings Explained: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Nailed it… exactly as advertised or even better. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Solid… but something’s off, misrepresented, or overpriced. ⭐⭐⭐ – Meh… not terrible, but not worth the money or time. ⭐⭐ – Yikes… functional but major issues, buyer beware. ⭐ – Absolute trash… should not exist.

I like the design of this rug, however the size is a bit awkward. The material choice is also somewhat unfortunate. It feels nice, but the threads snag easily on items such as Velcro or pet nails. Unfortunately we discovered this after an afternoon of playing with Velcro fruits and vegetables nearby. We own many rugs, this is the only one that does that. Aside from that, the colors are nice and is easy to clean. It's lightweight, but stays in place pretty easily.
