Don’t know why, but my youngest is a very picky eater, despite being fed all manner of healthy items, fruits & vegetables, when they were a baby and toddler. Then one day, they just refused to eat everything they had been eating, and life became very interesting, to say the least. My other kids will eat pretty much anything and school lunches are a breeze with them. So, needless to say, when it came time for my youngest to head to school, I was worried. Then, I happened to see another child in one of my other kid’s classes who is even pickier than my youngest and he had a bentgo box with all kinds of small portions of a wide variety of foods. I immediately looked it up, and I read a million reviews (mainly because it’s a pretty pricey item, and I didn’t want to throw that much money away on something that would leak, etc.) and decided to go for it. Best solution for my picky eater - ever! I have even been adding some of those things my child used to eat and love (like carrots), and they are actually eating them again! 9 out of 10 days, the box comes back completely empty, and their teacher confirmed that they are eating everything and not throwing anything away. Everything is nicely proportioned (I put yogurt in the small circular compartment - I have also put peanut butter in there, and it was a hit - just throw in a spoon on the side of their lunchbox). Couldn’t be happier. I was not thrilled to spend so much money on this, especially since I also had to buy a lunchbox to put it in, but it does NOT leak, ever (as long as it is fully and correctly latched and yes, my 4 year old can open and close/latch it very easily). I do handwash the outer shell everyday (to protect the rubber seals), but I pop the tray into the dishwasher. Also, I found additional tray inserts here on Amazon ($8 each when I purchased them) that are bentgo brand and fit perfectly in the outer shell. That way, I can have a spare in case of damage but mainly so I don’t have to run my dishwasher everyday. The spare trays also come with thin clear lids so you can prep lunch the night before, place in the fridge and then remove the lid and pop into the shell the next day. So glad I found this. Worth every penny!

I purchased two bentgo lunch box for my 6yr old son. One got lost and found a month later from school so we had to say bye bye without opening it. But the amazing part was any uncomfortable smell didn't come out from the lunch box. 😅 It is definitely leak proof and smell proof. And my customer service experience was for other one that survived and arrives home from school. Unfortunately the inner part of top lid got damaged by my mistake. So I was looking for replacements and Juliene at customer service solved my issue right away. The reply was prompt and she gave me hassle free solution. Thank you sooo much!! ** I really recommend this lunch box to parents with little kids. I've used other lunch boxes, too. Each item had issues but the bentgo is only one surviving from my son and I think it says it all. **

These really are leakproof! I was always skeptical of this bento style lunch, thinking there was no way it would hold enough for my kids, but I have been proven wrong! I often do pack some extra snacks, but these have been a hit for my 4 and 7 year old kids. One of them has some food sensitivities, so while he’s not picky, I have to be selective about what I put in his lunch. I wish the compartments were slightly bigger so I could fit a whole sandwich in the biggest section and a cheese stick or a granola bar in the long, skinny part, but we make do. You can see in my pics that I often have to cut a wee bit off of a side of the sandwich in order to fit. One of my kids often gets school lunch, so I just pack him snacks for the day, and you can see how meals or just snacks might work. Overall, I’m really excited not to have to find and deal with so many little containers all the time.

We have used bentgo boxes since my child started solids. They are perfect for daycare or just traveling. We even fill them ahead of time for weekend lunches if we know we will be busy. When I had an issue with one of my bentgo boxes, I reached out to customer service and they were happy to help. I’ve used bentgo boxes for years and this was the first time I had something happen and I’m grateful it was fixed. I’ll keep using bentgo boxes because of their reliability and great customer service.

My 5yr old loves this lunchbox, she is able to open and close it independently at school, it’s a little bit bulky, but she really enjoys it nonetheless and eats all options that I put in each compartment. It’s leek proof and easy to clean. But after 1 month of using one clipper fell out, the customer service helped me to decide this problem right away, they sent me the new one. Thank you! definitely recommend it!

I have two children ages 8 & 5 and they both love their lunch boxes we have not had any spills and is very easy to clean. My son receives occupational therapy and he has no problems opening and closing his lunch box. I really like the proportions and that it has 5 spots for different foods. I bought these lunch boxes together with the Bentgo backpack .. My son has an iPad for school and I wanted something that would keep his thing neat and Dry.. and this combination does just that!!! I have had cases where sauce would leak and spill everywhere from different brands. I learned my lesson and bought bentgo lunch boxes. My daughter loves hers and loves BBQ sauce with her chicken fingers. That little circle had me so terrified. I waited until she got home from school and to my surprise, no leak or spill. Amazing. This lunch box is super cute, and makes packing food for my 3-year-old for preschool easy, and it is very easy to clean. Fits a perfect amount of food, portioned out into separate areas so the food doesn't mix/touch eachother.
