A TN panel in 2023 isn’t the move for most use cases. However, I pretty much only play apex legends and other shooters on my computer, and I have another 32” 1440p lg monitor for content consumption. That being said, this monitor is really, really good. The black equalizer and color vibrance features work well, and Dyac+ seems to work great. I’ve played with dyac on and off. To be honest, I can’t tell the difference unless I’m REALLY trying and am like dragging a window with text across my desktop and trying to read it at the same time. With it being 1080p, my frame rate is always capped (I have a 4080- I know. Overkill.) My tracking has noticeably improved as well. 360 hz is noticeable, as I came from a 144hz monitor. Now, with all this said, would I recommend it to people? No. Not unless all you do is play shooters or have a good second monitor for other stuff. I’d still much prefer to play a game like elden ring or Witcher on a bigger 1440p IPS display. Also, I forgot to mention- optimum tech on YouTube has a video on this monitor with some color settings to make it look better. I highly recommend using those settings and then just dialing in the gamma and color vibrance. The display actually doesn’t look bad at all.

So at first, coming from a 165hz IPS display (it was an OMEN 27i btw) not gonna lie it hurt my eyes for about a day while gaming on this monitor. After about a day of use, i can not go back to my 165 hz IPS monitor. The colors are honestly super good (not the best color accuracy but still great!) for a TN panel. If you play FPS games, DYAC is actually insane. I think i saw a review saying the DYAC on this monitor wasn't worth it, but trust me it is. I can't go without it anymore lol. OH AND, i was curious if there would be any screen tearing using DYAC (since you cant enable G-SYNC while its enabled) but there's absolutely no screen tearing in any of my games, and no input lag!! Also a WARNING, i know it says shipped and sold by amazon, but they shipped it and handed it off to USPS which sucked, not sure if they do that for everyone. My package got delayed for a few days but i finally got it. NO DEAD PIXELS! everything came perfect!!! If you're looking for a sign to buy this monitor just do it!!! There's a reason it's most used in e-sports :)

This monitor is amazing and arrived in perfect condition, no dead pixels. Coming from 144 hz 1440p motion blur is significantly clearer and the monitor itself is much more vibrant. The extra features like blackness equalizer and color vibrancy are extremely nice to have and the S switch is much easier to use than the physical buttons. BenQ/Zowie are top notch.

I am coming from an xl2546k and i wasn't sure i would even notice a difference buying the xl2566k boy was i wrong! The 2546k is butter smooth, but this thing makes it look like 144hz. This thing has absolutely no motion blur and the smoothness is absolutely unbelievable. My main game is cs go and with Dyac on premium, AMA on premium this thing PERFORMS! Even the fastest flick shot with an AWP the enemy model stays completely 100 percent clear which makes landing flick head-shots just that much easier. One thing this monitor is not for is for casual gaming, this monitors colors do not look the prettiest, its only 1080p so don't go buying this monitor expecting to be blown away by the graphics playing warzone 2 This monitor is not for that. This monitor is strictly a competition E sports monitor geared toward having the best motion clarity and speed. If what you want is to get the best edge possible you can against your opponents to push your rank in cs go or valorant, then this monitor is for you. Conclusion: this monitor is an absolute beast and if competitive cs go, valorant, pubg, fortnite, etc. is your thing then i think the investment in the xl2566k is 100% worth it.

By far the best monitor i've used for competitive fps games. I play halo infinite at a pretty high level and the Samsung Odysee g4 240hz I had gave me screen tear no matter what I did. I took a chance and ordered this one and once I turned Dyac off everything was insanely crisp. Colors are great, no tear, and super responsive. Cannot recommend enough!

I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 mainly for the target audience and the price point. I play collegiate esports so having equipment like this is very important. The price point of this monitor is quite high for such an "average" looking monitor but the performance is there. Recently however some OLEDS have gone on sale for less than this and I am not sure which one I would choose but if you are an advanced Esports player or just want that competitive edge I would give this a try. By far the best motion clarity I've seen in a monitor, much better than ANY IPS out there.

The best monitor you can get for esports gaming. The dyac is a changer with no motion blur. If you can manage to get a consistent 360fps while using 360hz then go for it

This monitor requires a lot of tweaking for whatever you want out of it. It can achieve great colors but you will constantly have to use the s-switch to change settings for each application. I was considering this and the PG27AQN and I believe I will be sticking with this. The motion clarity is just too good to sacrifice for the 1440p/360hz/IPS/ULMB 2 combination. I have a PG279Q which was the highest end monitor at the time of release and 1440p is good, but it's not as clear as 4k and that leaves something to be desired (I have a 4k 144hz). Games like Starfield are extra crisp with the motion clarity, as well as D4/D2R, RDR2, Cyberpunk, etc. 1080p is definitely not great in games but at the time being it is the only way to get the most out of today's motion clarity technology. EDIT: Just tried the PG27AQDM, and while I have it set up right next to the XL2566k, I will be keeping the latter. The OLED of the first is obviously top tier and great, but I cannot live without the motion clarity despite the poor viewing angles.
