While this product is intended for children's food or baby food, it's ideal for packing snacks for travel. It is durable but not heavy. The different size compartments are great for different nibbles - a serving of thin pretzels fit well in the bottom container. The top 2 small containers are great for nuts, dried fruit or candy the size of M&Ms. The middle is good for cubes or cheese or hersey kisses. It fits comfortable in a tote bag and it is easy to open each container seperaetly. Perfect for snacks on the go!

The covers are a bit hard to unscrew, so a child may have difficulty opening the containers without help. Other than that, these are really nice!

I use these for my son's packed lunch. This set allows him to carry his entire lunch in the bottle pouch of his backpack. Since they aren't allowed to use lockers this year, it is very important for him to be efficient with his backpack space. The amount of food and drink he's able to carry with just this is perfectly suitable for him (6th grade); I'd imagine it wouldn't be enough, alone, for a high schooler; they'd probably want to have a drink bottle separate from this and use this entirely for food (luckily most backpacks have 2 bottle pouches, so that would still work well). For safety, we've taken to using a piece of cord to tie the top of this to the backpack, so it can't fall out and crack open on the floor. This works great for that too because the top handle of this can be separated from the rest when it is time to eat; no need to untie it or anything. The sections hold together very well and the waterproof seals are working great (even for liquids). The only downside is that the lids can be a bit difficult to screw off of the containers if you screw them on tight. They are relatively easy to clean, but you're not supposed to put them in the dishwasher, so I guess that is a slight con, but not much of one, honestly. I don't think we've had it long enough to comment on durability, yet, but so far it is holding up quite well.
