  • Great resource
I loved how this was organized. Very succinct and kids of useful topics that should be very helpful as I progress on my Metalsmith journey.

  • Real tips from an honest man
Too many books on jewelry are pure ego- Don Norris for example, believes you’re a fool if you don’t do as he does (making low quality wire pendants). Brad knows his stuff, how to keep it safe and what to modify in your current setup to minimize pitfalls. I’d buy this guy a coffee if I could, some of these tips are priceless. ... show more

  • Worth purchasing !
I am a beginner, and tho I am now certified to be in a local program, I found a whole lot of info in this booklet that "filled in the blanks" and made a whole lot of what I learned from my class more understandable. This booklet is always listed in our Gem and Mineral societies monthly newsletter.

Great book written so even the most novice of us wannabe jewelers can understand and stop bad habits before they start or spend to much time trying to figure out already solved problems

  • Very Helpful.
This is a great book of tips for those of us just starting to make jewelry and for the more experienced. I highly recommend it. I refer to it often. I am not doing jewelry full time so I will also carry it in my purse so when I'm waiting in line somewhere, there is always time to read a few tips - it helps me feel connected to my true passion. Looking forward to more books. ... show more
