Correct fit for 2000 5.9L Cummins
This is the right one for my 2000 5.9 Cummins motor. It retracts left and tensions right. The first one I ordered was the opposite. It arrived quickly and looks more heavy duty then the stock one.

Plastic pulleys

Perfect fit, replacing the bad one. I can't figure out why all of the other pulleys are steel metal, when the tensioner pulley is plastic. It is what it is. Just floors me though.

The aluminum in a soda can is stronger than this junk

Terrible product. Looks like it was made from trash. A soda can is stronger. The tensioner nut is cheap aluminum and got stripped on the first try. Broke with normal pressure. Completely useless. Waste of time and money.
