Look, I’ve gone through more wallets than I care to admit—trying to find that perfect blend of form, function, and that little something extra you can’t always explain. Admittedly, I’m addicted to wallets. The Bellroy Flip Case Second Edition might just be it. Right out of the box, this thing feels premium. It’s got that satisfying magnetic snap when you flip it open, like it’s quietly telling you, “I’m not like the others.” And it’s not. The two-door design makes accessing cards easy without turning into a magic trick every time you need your license. Bellroy just gets it. I keep 3-5 cards on me max, and they all fit snug. No slippage, no digging. The molded interior feels secure, but not tight to the point of frustration. There’s a little room for a folded bill or two if you’re old school like me and like to keep some cash around, just in case. It’s slim. Like, actually slim. Not “we-shaved-a-millimeter-and-called-it-slim.” Slides into your front pocket with zero bulge and sits flat like it’s meant to be there. No more George Costanza wallet situation. If I had to nitpick—and I’m trying—it would be that glossy edge finish. Time will tell if it holds up, but I trust Bellroy’s build quality, and if anything, their warranty game is strong. In short: it looks sleek, works the way you wish all wallets did, and it’s low-key enough that you don’t feel like you’re trying too hard. If you’re tired of playing Goldilocks with wallets, this one might just be your “just right.”

I'm very happy with this wallet. it's very well designed well constructed and I feel safe using it. I used the slim wallet with the pull up tab but stopped using it because the main compartment became looser with use and I carry only 5 cards so it didn't hold them firmly anymore unless I added cards to the side pockets. With the flip case v2 there is no issues whatsoever. The only very minor detail is that it only carries 2 tri-folded bills + 5 cards. It's fine by me for most days but I have to carry my cash elsewhere in shopping days.

Typical Bellroy quality. Super nice stuff. The plastic frame doesn't allow for extra cards to be jammed in there like the full leather card holders. The magnetic closures are invisible and work great. All edges are smooth. One hand operation is useful. Enough space in the larger side to hold cards and 5 bills.

I really like this card wallet so far. Slim, fits all my cards, barely noticeable in my pocket. My only complaint(ish) is that I think the magnets could be stronger. To be clear, they hold really well as they are, I’m just picky. I would buy it again, for sure.

The wallet’s design is unique and beautiful. Looks advanced and the hinges operate as advertised. The leather is nice and holds up to scratching from keys and coins. I only carry three cards in the diagonal fold pocket and a couple of bills in the half fold pocket. If you’re buying this expecting it to hold a bunch of cards, be warned that a $5 folding wallet will do a much more effective job. This is a statement piece and it’s intended as a design and fashion accessory. This is not intended for the utilitarian crowd. It’s a great backup for travel or if you’re out at the beach and just want to carry a couple of cards. I use it as a primary wallet so I switch cards out for whichever occasion I’m using it for that week. Would buy again.

I used to use a slim wallet, but ditched it when it was worn out and switched to a bifold because I couldn't find a worthy replacement. When I saw this Bellroy, I gave it a shot because it is unique. Unfortunately, it's not very practical and makes putting in/removing cards a pain. It's not obvious how many cards fit into each slot on the "regular" side, and if you put in too many, then the wallet won't close properly. If you put in the maximum amount of cards (as stated) into the slots, then removing them is difficult, and often requires you to remove multiple just to get the one you need. This wallet is a good idea for someone who needs just a couple of cards because filling it up as described makes it impossible to use on a daily basis. If you need to access cards quickly, then I won't recommend something like this. I ended up returning this and going back to a bifold. Pros: slim, innovative design, looks good, magnetic clasp is sturdy Cons: impractical for most people, doesn't actually fit 8 cards if you want to use your wallet, expensive

This has become a favorite wallet because of its toughness, refined looks and RFID blocking feature. As a fromt pocket wallet carrier who does not like to carry everything this wallet allows me to feel secure with my cards and an emergency bill or two. My cards are easy to access and the form factor is very functional whether I am pulling it out of my front pants pocket, the hidden pocket on my backpack or my nside suit jacket pocket. This is thick and built to last! I am very happy with this purchase, it has been worth every penny.
