Rode with my new helmet for first time today. Fit was perfect,comfortable with no issues. This helmet is light, maybe not the lightest on the market, but not noticable. For me the visor was well positioned and caused no issues. I ride a mountain bike and on trails, so that posture may be why, I know others have commented, but not an issue. Well constructed, and comparing it to my old schwinn helmet I can see where the investment is over a $25 helmet. Very easy to fit, light weight, and has lots of ventilation. Of course, I never hope to find out if it is a good helmet. You just hope for the best!

    • Feels good but looks a bit goofy
It initially looks like a sleek looking helmet and I love the matte gun metal grey; however, I already have a bigger than average head, and this helmet reminded me of the SNL conehead skits, it doesn't feel big, but it sure looks big. The padding is much thicker than it's little brother the Nomad, and it has more padding throughout the inside. Chin strap seems a bit excessively long but not a bid deal. It's adjustable under the ears, which is nice since other companies are going to a locked, one side fits most. The visor is almost nonfunctional because it's mounted very high up on the helmet, it doesn't even look right when you look at yourself in the mirror. I'm more about functionality than looks but the larger than average look, and the visor being mounted too high, does not instill confidence. Comfort and adjustability is spot on, but visor functionality and big looks came up short. ... show more

It’s a sharp looking helmet. I’ve added/stuck in small reflector tape to enhance visibility, when on the road, to the front and back of the helmet. Very comfortable and quickly adjust with the knob to make the perfect fit.

Got me a new lid. Bell Sparks. More Endoro then X country . More protection, truth when I put it on out of the box it felt a bit like my old Motorcycle helmet .Very Comfortable. Might be a bit more weight compared to my old Lazer Nirvana. But it felt very comfortable on my head. Bell been making helmets since 1954. Yep Car racing and motorcycles. So they should have MTN. Biking and off road down. I think I'm going to like this helmet. ... show more
