First off I have always HATED full face helmets. I have a Bell air scout which I live as it’s a 3/4 helmet and weights a little over a pound. I also have a Bell Eliminator which is fairly light weight at a little over 3 ounces, however, I can’t ride for more than an hour with this helmet on as it causes pain in my jaw from the cheek pads. I am headed for a half cross country trip and wanted the protection of a full face that I could stand to be in for 9 hours a day. As soon as I put this helmet on my head I literally said out loud “wow, now this is how a helmet should fit.” This is made for round heads which I apparently have according to how this feels on me. It weighs less than 3 ounces, has a huge field of vision, and honestly feels like I am wearing a 3/4 helmet. Plenty of air flow. Yes there is wind noise but it’s no worse than what I am used to, and I wear ear plugs. Yes it whistles IF the wind hits it in a certain way, say from the fairing. Neither of these things bother me. I am so happy to have throw helmet for my trip, and it will now be my go-to helmet. I installed a Cardo freecom system in it just fine. The wires don’t hide perfectly, but they are out of the way. I can’t believe I was able to get this for about 1/2 price as there was 1 available in my size that someone had returned after only opening the box! It’s was 100% brand new. Fit and finish is extremely good for the retro design Pros: 3 shell sizes to get the best fit and comfort. Wide field of view, makes you for get it’s a full face helmet. Plenty of accessories available to customize even more ie bubble screen, tints, anodized hardware and Bluetooth ready Cons: Wind noise is louder than other full face helmets. Pricey pricey pricey Air vents stay open chin vent is hard to operate from the Graphic selection is limited Overall if you’ve tried the other brands that offer this retro design you’ll notice a big difference in fit and comfort. Although this is on the higher price side because of the 3shell size offering you find that these fit better after break in and allow little to no twist when turning your head. The wide eye port is very nice to have and anti fog shields are super convenient in the early hours. If it fits perfect and price isn’t an issue or is. Great helmet, got a ton of compliments...all that, but just like previous reviews, IT'S NOISY! I'm thinking why would the engineers at Bell design a helmet like this? Why not a on/off switch of some sort? Yes, u can slap some tape across the exhaust vent to rectify the design flaw. however that would detract from a nice helmet such as this... It would stand to reason the logic here is weight... Bell engineers wanted to make the helmet as light as possible however in doing so made it inherently noisy. Nonetheless it's a terrific piece of safety equipment... ... show more

The helmet is outstanding. This is my third Bell helmet. I own couple open face helmets by Bell in large. The Bullitt full face fits consistently (size large). This helmet came in brown interior with the brown magnetic tab on the shield as i was hoping it would. By default it came with a bubble clear shield and a dark flat shield. I purchased the amber gradient bubble shield and it transformed the helmet completely, I absolutely love it. The amber shield works nicely day and night. I use this helmet on my cafe racers (74 Norton and 16 Thruxton R). Lastly, it came in the usual leather carrying bag. ... show more

Only down side to this helmet is the price is a bit high, but the quality and comfort is excellent, if you have the money for it, I would definitely recommend it

The helmet looks great and very comfortable but if u have anything other than original exhaust on your bike your ears are going to ring after after a ride. A lot of noice. No isolation between the visor and the helmet. A lot of air circulation so very good for Florida weather and very light weight but not worth the money. ... show more
